That last drive to kill the clock was the most dominant performance by a steelers running back since bettis days. Titans could not stop the run even when they knew the Steelers were going to run. unbelievable performance by bell.

It was awesome to behold. Running to close out a game never goes out of style.

But wait - isn't that what is most surprising????? That the Steelers actually took advantage of a statistical anomaly? How many times did we see Mendy or Fast Willie not be able to run out the clock? This was pure awesome through and through and for him to hold onto the rock the whole time running right up the gut taking as many direct hits as he did. On the other hand - the game should never have been that close down the finish to necessitate such an extraordinary late effort like Bell had - but I'll take it. :applaud:

I think the "holding on to the ball" statement was probably the most important. He took some really hard shots, holding on to the ball and popping right back up. I did like Mendy, probably more than most, but I worried when he took those kind of shots.

#26&84 are our most gifted football players
and should see the ball accordingly. Glad to see
Levean run hard. Now what to do about his 420 friendly back field mate.

No fumbles all year as yet. That's impressive.

I just like the way he runs. It's like what Mendy should have been, but much much better.

Mendy never had the kind of speed Bell has once he hits the crease....

Maybe it's just me but it seems like Bell has out on a little weight, seems it would be a good thing to break tackles

Let's give some credit to the OL. That 4th quarter was awesome. DeCastro was a beast! And Will Johnson and Heath.

DeCastro and Pouncey are becoming quite a team! They may not be amazing out of the gates but they seem to be wearing defenses down.

I really think Adams on that side would be a better line!

It can't be worse than Gilbert. It's not like we can pass protect anyway, so what's the harm in trying Adams?

No Harm at all because Adams is a Great Run Blocker , and he looked better than Gilbert as a pass protector .

Adams played in place of Gilbert in the Colts and Ravens games after Gilbert was injured in the Colts game.

Obviously this wasn't the only reason for 45 ppg but I think it was part of it.

I really like Adams he plays with an edge but theres only 1 RT spot and theyve both sucked at LT. Gilbert is good for a sack almost every game though.
