We live in Rhode Island and she just suggested I take my 2 sons to the game in NY this weekend. My youngest is a huge Silverback fan...so this might be his last chance to see him live. My oldest loves AB and paid $75...2 years ago for #84 bumble bee jersey when we went to the Burgh.

    It feels like Christmas

    Anyone ever been to MetLife...suggestions?

Driving to the game I assume. Don't know where you are getting your tix but I suggest you look into the parking pass as well.

lol..... yes, we're the smallest state in the union and if you drive more than 30 min. In any direction, you're basically in mass. or ct.
But we're still surrounded by pats fans, and it's good to know that you're not standing alone

I'm originally from Montana and you can drive for a day and still be in the state. It's funny here in the northeast...if you have to drive more than a half hour people are complaining. Several people questioned why I would drive 3.5 hours to NY for the game...why wouldn't I.

These Pats fans are OK for the most part...except for a few like all teams. All I heard after the first few weeks is Brady is done and time to move on...now he has 3-5 years left with a couple SB's...lol (sound familiar)

Now my wife and oldest daughter are pissed that I jumped on the offer and I'm not taking them...maybe next time.

I'm also going to the game I've been there couple times I'm from the New York area it's a really nice stadium.
make sure you buy a parking pass from Ebay or stub hub they usually between $25 and $50 bux
otherwise you have to park in some remote location and take a shuttle bus. It will feel like a home game for the Steelers cause all the Jets fans are unloading the tickets for face or less right now

I wanted to post an update on our game experience. Other than the loss...I will always cherish this Steelers game I watched with my boys. Art II signed their Terrible Towels and talked to them for a few moments, Mike Mitchell came over and signed them also and told my boys to thank their parents for bringing them to the game.

But the best was when AB came over and signed my oldest sons 'bumble bee' #84 jersey and then took a 'selfie' with them. It was before the game and even with the loss you couldn't remove their smiles.

Keisel also came over and started to hand my son his gloves until someone behind us yelled it was their kids first game and he gave it to them instead...however he did shake their hands...it was my youngest sons first game too, but they were content.

What a great experience!! Almost 50% Steeler fans. I'm now 0-4 going to Steelers games so I will stay home for awhile (never after a Raven game again...lol) My daughter said I need to take her...that she is a good luck charm.

Very cool. Trust me, going to the game with their old man means a hell of a lot more to them than the outcome of the game.
