Been watching a lot of Titans Film on rewind. They love to stunt and they Love to blitz. The favorite is A gap pressure they have a standard where 1 LB comes they have a standard where both LB'S come and they have a Jail Break where both LB'S come and the SS....

They have 3 main stunts they like to run up front all designed to help those A gap blitzes that they run ...Because of this they play a lot of single high Safety so our game plan needs to attack what they like to do...

We need to spread them out and run from a 1 man set the place to run is at the A gap looking to cut back in the A gap hole .... If we can get a good double Team and make a pile as I call it Bell could bounce out the backside for huge gains ,,esp if we catch them in that A Gap blitz and pin their players behind the pile....

In the passing game we need to run a Tier concept and that should be mostly in between the Hash marks...Because they like to blitz the middle so the middle is exactly where to Attack....It Appears a 2 by 1 WR package would work best .....

We need route combos that put 3 WR'S over the ball on their routes 1 such combo would be the deep post from the single WR#1 a shallow cross from the #2 WR and a slant or a slogo from WR #3 ....Of course a nice change would be a shallow cross from WR #1 a slant or slogo from WR #2 and a deep arrow in from WR#3 ....All these types of combos would give Ben multiple reads in the same view it would also allow him to see their best pressure , another huge advantage would be PA as you can run all off the same looks and can run clear outs and throw to Bell as well.....

Just a small breakdown hope you guys enjoy..

If they plan to bring that much heat I expect Bell to have a big night receiving.

They're run defense is I believe ranked 28th in the league. Hopefully Haley takes advantage of this unlike his game plan against the Jets where he challenged they're strength.

You have a very good point . Miller could for sure be used on Quick Pop passes and TE streak routes right down the seam ... I watched another Titans game and they use so much middle pressure we should also add in a middle screen to Bell and to Miller and AB. I would think a good shovel pass to Bell against that Jail Break could go the distance as well...

Sounds like you really know your stuff. You're a coach, right? Or you used to be?

I'm betting whiz will have the titans defense fully prepared for what is essentially his offense.

There's what? 2 starters on offense that was here when he coached and 2 offensive coordinators later? Yeah, it's his offense...

Maybe you missed it, but even the players commented that "this is coach whiz's playbook" after Haley was brought in.

Makes sense kinda but then again you would expect our coaching staff to know this and make necessary adjustments so it does not appear like its Whiz playbook...

That's why we run a Tier concept instead of a Triangle concept... The Tier puts WR'S at different Depths in a sequence 4 to 7 then 11 to 14 and then 17 or so to forever ...The triangle is flooding the zone well with a triangle used to Attack a certain section of the field usually the right side of the QB ...

This is more the Wiz stuff and is exactly why we should go Tier concept because if he is ready for the Triangle Tree stuff the Tier Tree could exploit that Defense.... A Playbook is a Playbook is a Playbook the more Important thing is the passing Tree and the route Combo's Coach Haley will have his own route tree combos I am sure....And I pray it's the Tier Tree for this game...

You would hope, but look what happened when we played the Chiefs. Their players commented after the game how they knew what was coming and that Haley hadn't changed anything. They were calling out the plays.

Or maybe he missed the part where Haley was Whiz's OC for a small stretch too. I don't place much value in knowing the offensive tendency after such a long time being gone, it's more about making the plays. See Jets game for failures at the player level.

you knew the bus was going to run the ball as well but many could not stop him. Lets just hope last weeks embarrassment motivates these guys to knock the crap out of the Titans. I like our record and stats for Monday night games :)

I heard it was BA's playbook. I've heard them say when Haley took over, that it's basically the same as BA's playbook, just changed some of the terminology.

Have a hard time believing after 2 OC's and 8 years that its still Whiz playbook.

"I actually just got it yesterday...I had already had some familiarity because Todd's system is very similar to Ken Whisenhunt's...I talked to Kuge (OL Coach Kugler) yesterday and we went over some of this stuff and I was like 'that's the same plays we ran...' and he was like 'yeah, that's the way it's supposed to be'. So, I'm pretty familiar with it...it's the old system we ran my first three years here."

All of them use the Erhardt- Perkins playbook. so no real difference. Just terminology and route trees.

That was Levi Brown, the guy they picked up from Arizona, when Whiz was coaching them. One player, "not players"

I think Ben is the only guy left that used Whiz playbook.
