Just in case you didn't know that.

Look for a win against the Titans. 7-4 heading into the bye week.

    That is all.

You're probably right there, though, the clouds were looking really low this morning.

Agreed. This team can be pretty frustrating. I'm trying to be patient and see what grows from this. This year seems more positive than the last two.

The O-Line needs new tackles, though. I saw Beachum getting man-handled, yesterday. Ben didn't seem to get comfortable in the backfield. They've got to keep him clean.

Your right the sky is not falling. I'm not real happy losing $700.00 on a game the Steelers just laid down and gave away but I'm still playing with the houses money so it's still all good. The Steelers seemed to play a little soft again after playing a couple games of more like Steeler football. I hope that can change. The Steelers looked like they were playing scared, especially the play calling. They were definitely playing stupid for lack of a better term. The inconsistency is the killer. I would hate to see them win out or close to it to finish the regular season and then have one of these unexplainable games in the first round of the playoffs. I'm still thinking SB #7.

I think we've seen that this team has the potential for it. But do they have the hunger?

It hasn't fallen yet but we are definitely one step closer to relying on another teams help towards the end of the season thanks to playing down the competition again. We all seen how that worked out last season.

Blew an opportunity to control their own destiny last week. No denying that.

no one of the afcn teams will go unbeaten .. just we need to lose less than others , the double game with cincy could be pivotal

The sky isn't falling but the dark clouds are circling overhead. Will they clear out with the sun coming out for an extended period or will the clouds bring storms and patches of clearing.

The team blew a big opportunity to control their destiny over the next few weeks. Now it is win against the Titans and hope for other division teams to lose. We lose to the Titans and it is bad. The loss to the Jets was huge. We are now hoping for a win and other division teams over the next two week ends to lose, and we would have a 1 game lead in the division. We still have cincy twice with a guess of one loss to them.

A pessimist view of the glass being half empty...

Not just could be. I think it will be. Steelers need to sweep the Bengals. That tie game they have posted is working for them. It would be nice for the Steelers to have a clear head-to-head advantage over them. However, I think the Browns will end up with a better record than the Bengals.

Let's also keep in mind that the AFC North is the most competitive division in the NFL, this season. All the teams are above .500. Any of the teams could take 1st or 2nd place in any other division.

That's not an excuse, though. The Steelers should have kept that in mind going to the Meadowland. Every loss is major in the AFC North.

    Pretty crazy division...

I think it`s safe to say no one here would have expected 3 teams to have 6 wins, and the Bungles to be in good shape, by virtue of a tie, 10 weeks into the season...

I`d love to see us sweep the Bungles right now, but it doesn`t seem realistic, given how we`ve played...

    A split does...
    A sweep would be AWESOME!

I really thought we had the monkey off our backs, about playing "down" to inferior teams, heading into New York...
    I was wrong...

    Turnovers flat out killed us...

And the officiating, put a nail in the coffin,
    But I won`t blame that...

This team (as usual), still CAN beat any other team in the league...

    We just can`t make mistakes.

When we do, we fall apart...

It hurt, that we didn`t have many possesions in the first half, against the Jets...

But we still had a chance to win...

Eliminate the mistakes, and we can`t be beat.

    By ANYONE!!!:herewego!:

You know, as rough as it is this year, I have to say that I agree with this. Not that it makes me feel better, but it's something, and I'm still holding out hope that they'll turn it around.

A loss to the Titans and the Post Season might be in the rear view. Can't come out asleep at the wheel.

The sky is not falling .... but it is currently being propped up with toothpicks and duct tape. A loss to the Titans this weekend and it comes crashing down. This is a game that will take getting off to a good start as the Titans will be rabid considering this is their prime time last shot of trying to make something worthwhile of their season. A slow start again and the Steelers will likely lose this game.

They lose this - their chances of making the playoffs are very very low.

Lets see the Jets and Bucs are 2-0 against the Steelers and 1-16 against everone else. Now that says something coming into the next game with the Titans who are 2-7. Maybe the sky is falling, will see the next game. There has to be a reason for that and I point the finger right at the coaching staff, mainly Tomlin who just can not get this team up for bottom feeder teams.

The sky will fall unless we keep the football in the sky, byt throwing downfield. We will lose continuously if we try to "establish the run".

What is your concern with establishing the run?
