The Steelers QB's for the 1987 'replacement' strike games were:

Steve Bono - University of California
Kevin Brown - University of California-Berkeley.
Future Lions starter Erik Kramer was in the brief replacement training camp but was released.

    Also ...

Suge Knight played two games at DE for the L.A. Rams
Sean Payton was the Bears replacement Q.B.
Rick Neuheisel was the Chargers replacement Q.B.

my friend Dwight stone was one for us too. I'd sure like to get neuheisel's kid in here at some point. he's got some "IT" factor to him. QB knowledge, smoothness and a lot of QB awareness that has been either pounded in or just natural God given talent is what I mean by his IT factor. the worst part is he doesn't even start for UCLA. go figure. I sure hope we look into this kid down the line as a future replacement.

I remember Dwight Stone. Another one of those undrafted guys that kept working till he made it.

I got to meet and hangout with Frank Pokorny a few times. He went to school at Youngstown St and played wr on the replacement team. Sadly enough his brother was a Pennslvania State Trooper who was shot to death in the line of duty in 2005 in Carnegie. RIP

Cliff Stoudt used to live in the same town as me. Never met him, and he moved to another school district to hand pick the school his kid would play football.
