This team started believing and thinking about their own MVP hype and thinking playoffs (as did I, but I am fan, my week to week focus is not important). The Steelers need to think week to week and forget the hype. We are on to Tennessee.

Horrible gameplanning. Horrible execution. Horrible chemistry between Ben and Wheaton. Horrible play on the left side of the line. Horrible special teams play. Horrible focus and stupid turnovers.

I understand that this is the NFL and every team is full of professional athletes who can beat any team on any given Sunday.. But the talk all week here and even from tomlin was about a let down game... And that's exactly what we had. I just don't get this teams Jekyll and Hyde ways...

No clue how you could game plan for screen passes and runds against this defense instead of protect and go after the terrible secondary!

Totally 100 percent on the nose. Why every other play was not a bomb against this team was boggling. The screens and short stuff, and quick short passes fed into their strength. I hate to say it, but yes, we played down to them. We are on to Tennessee.

Harbaugh basically made fun of us in their locker room after the Titans game. THAT'S how bad this loss is today!

    I'll give it a shot.
1 Too much reading their own press clippings.
2 Listless, no fire or sense of urgency from the get go.
    3 Lack of tackling.....anyone.
4 No discipline. Allowed Vick to escape too many times.
5 AB for whatever reason, was just going through the motion
6 Poor play calls, execution, coaching
7 Couple of blown ref calls ( fumble recovery ) but we played so poorly it wasn't a major factor
8 For whatever reason we always play down against teams we should dominate
The only good that may come of this hopefully, they can get refocused by cracking the whip at practice this week

I really thought the late hit on Ben would light a fire under the Steelers, but they continued to show the same lack of emotion as Tomlin and were pushed around the field with coach Ho Hum looking on. Tomlin is not the answer and nothing more than a front man for the Steelers as long as he stays in Pittsburgh, this is the product of emotionless inconstancy he will have on the field. Look for another 8-8 coming to you soon.

My complaint is to the fans who claim to be "on to Tennessee" yet continuing to post about this game.

We lost because Ben threw two picks and Antonio Brown fumbled twice.

We always seem to call the token run plays to start games and we never ever have success with them. Same with the dink and dunk passing. We are at our best when we throw the football down the field. Anything beyond the first down marker, not just simply deep bombs.

Let's face it. We are a MEDIOCRE team at best. We have an uncanny ability to lose to crappy teams that good teams beat. Mark it down...Tennessee will look like a Super Bowl contender next week. 6-5 is staring us right smack in the face.

This is team needs a culture change. MT is just not the answer.

The only question is, at 2-7, are the Titans good enough that we won't feel compelled to play like absolute crap?

EXACTLY!!!!! This was about the lack of offense execution. STOP BLAMING THE COACHES FOR EVERY LOSS. We played terribly in the 1st half and yet were still down by only 2 touchdowns AND we got the ball to start the 3rd. We drive downfield and BAM (Piss poor decision by Ben)

My only knock was not throwing the fade to a tight end or Bryant in the red zone instead of running per say. They did try some kooky play with Harrison in but it didn't work (if Harrison is open and catches it Haley looks like a genius). And using Heath and Spaeth more in the middle of the field instead of just as blockers (Jets have been getting killed with TE's all season)

This was just one of those games where everything seemed to go awry in execution. Even Ben's 1st deep ball to Bryant was sorry.

Oh well at least Buffalo and Miami both lost.......On to Tenn!
