Anyone know how serious it is? Will he miss time?

He did go back in the game for a play or two after so he should be ok soon by my estimation.

Heard somewhere this morning that he should play Sunday, but could be speculation!

As with every other week...updates generally do not come until at least Coach Tomlin's Tuesday press conference

The D looked better without him, they need the quicker legs out there, Troy is too slow. He can take his time.

So it's just my imagination watching Troy chasing after guys and watching receivers and TE's leaving him in the dust , his head is quicker than his feet. Dump Troy and Ike and you wouldn't even know they were gone, and we would save a lot of money for the players we need to keep now!! instead of wasting it on has beens, and watching other teams take our players away.

Yea. Where have we heard that before?

The problem with Troy this year is he doesn't have Clark.

I believe he will attribute more when he comes back as will Ike also.

Funny they were saying Ben was washed up about three weeks ago. Both Ike and Troy have done a lot for the steelers. Let's wait till after the season to decide.

I do think Troy is nearing the end, I think he might have 1 more year in him.

I also heard he will miss time these next few weeks, as will Shamarko.

Allen May start, but what do we do about depth? Do we sign a guy, does someone get cut?

I forgot Shamarko got hurt again last night. Man I've wanted to see him do something. I hope he doesn't turn out to be injury prone.

Not trying to dump on the guy, he has done great things here, but he got hurt going for the big hit and not wrapping up. Then when the ball carrier did not go down, but Troy did, the tackler drove him into Troy.

Per Tomlin's press conference: Troy and Shazier are both out for Jets game.

It's not a good sign that it's so definitive this early in the week. Thankfully, we should be able to get by the Jets no matter who is injured, but we need these guys back.

Troy has a sprained knee. He will be out until the bye I would imagine.

I just can't agree with all of the "Troy is no good anymore" crap. He may be slower but he also has an even better eye for the opponent's play and where that ball is headed. I would like to meet ANY young man who would rather be tackled by Troy than anyone other than Silverback. Offensive players still fear him, and opposing quarterbacks still point him out on every play, not because he is slow but because he is savvy.

And to write Shazier as a wash because he is injury prone?? really?? How about that he is throwing all he has in there when he can, and that is why injuries happen. If players weren't going to be hurt than why have back-ups for them at all?

:this!: I want to see Shamarko too, but I don't think he's surpassed Troy yet. Troy gets way too much blame when things go wrong. Cortez Allen is in man coverage and whiffs on a ball and it's, "Well Troy should have been there" because Troy was the next closest guy. Like he's supposed to help everyone at once.

The guys that REALLY take the cake are those saying we are better with Will Allen. At least those pining for Shamarko have some logic on their side.

YUUUUUUUUUUP!!! Same thing I said to my wife that night. If he'd quit trying to torpedo everyone and just wrap up, he'd have been fine!

Troy has to be accounted for and can still make a splash play or two but I like the more conventional D the team plays with Will Allen in there. CB's aren't left on an island waiting for safety help that is way too late getting there.

:lolol: Yeah, CBs can rest easy with Will Allen in the game. Now they can really count on that help. You forgot the green font.
