D played really well, if not for Cortez and the all of the sudden offsetting flags. I can't remember seeing a blatant call in this case calls.... Getting a late flag to offset.

    A couple things.

Bryant emerging as a legit threat has opened our entire offense. Line played lights out too.

And on D, we went for it. Yeah, we got burned. But that pressure was a difference maker, and if not for Toast Allen stinking up the joint, this would have been a massive blowout. I hope this stays around and we stop trying to be a finesse defense. the pressure... WORKS!

Agreed, as hard as it is to believe with the points and yards allowed, the pass rush was great all day today. Blake should be starting at CB.

    This. 1000 times this.

How much longer do we need to see Cortez fail before finally benching him?

The talent is there. We all knew it. But things weren't clicking. Let's hope today's game is a sign of things to come. And maybe...if Jones and Shazier come back, and Allen is yanked, the D can become a little more stout.

Yeah its no coincidence Cro magnon man kept going to his right . Allen sucks. He has the physical skills just not the footballs smarts

OL has never played that well. Seems like either it was because Gilbert was out and Mike Adams in or Munch has gotten to these boys.

Defense looked extremely hungry and they played and entire 60 minutes like they want to win.

Offense is very dangerous. Never thought I would be saying that this year lol

Blake should be starting over Gay and McCain?

Got no Problem with that, just trying to figure out who Blake is bumping as a starter?

    Thanks.

And you know, I'm wondering if that Jimmy today, at age 62 but still at his playing weight, could do no worse.

Ok, guys, had to work today and didn't get to watch the game. What'd I miss? ;)

I'm telling you, fellas, I believe at the end of the season when Ben is hoisting number seven (the Super Bowl trophy, not the mule) that we'll look back on that magical 2:54 stretch against the Texans as the catalyst that catapulted our season from mediocrity to magnificence! :dancing:

I saw some of Shazier early in the game, did he finish?
    Did Spence play at all?

Williams also got some time at ILB on the field. They really swapped dudes out today. Across the line!

Ike says he'll be back this season. If this all keeps coming together and we get him and Jones back...we could be that team that is "hot" going into the playoffs!

I'm okay getting them back, but neither guy was playing particularly well before their injuries.

Jarvis was getting better every day - he was injured getting a sack/fumble on Cam Newton. Ike was unpopular, but we are much stronger with him healthy. I can't wait for them to get back!
