Long live the Bumble Bees!

Starting to be a big fan of those uni's!

Team really plays well when they sport them.

 

Those things hurt my eyes!

 

If it gets us a W I don't care if it permanently blinds me!

 

I admittedly don't have an amazing memory but I don't think their record is great in the bumble bees. Not sure if anyone keeps that record anywhere heh

 

What I don't understand is why they don't use the 70s unis, for the throwbacks. Did you see the Rams when they used theirs? they looked great.

 

I don't have stats but I really think this team plays well when wearing throwbacks including the Bumble Bee uni's.

Hopefully they played Blind Melon in the stadium!

 

I like the knit hats they were wearing on the sideline.
Where do I buy one?

and I thought the Steeler's Johnson came up big today.

 

My son bought one a few weeks ago at the Steelers Sideline store.

 

Today's Steelers team scored 51 points.

Me too! I have a hard time trying to figure out who has the ball because of the way the numbers look.

 

I would kill to see those uniforms.

 

I read somewhere else tonight that the record in those uni's is something like 3-13 with 12 of those losses coming in 1934. We've been 2-1 over the last few years when worn with one loss against Balt when Ben didn't dress. Not sure this other source was correct though - seems like we've worn them more than 3 times in recent times.

 

I don't care much for them. They look like uniforms they would hand out to prisoners at an economy jail. It's bad enough to be locked up but if they would have to wear something that ugly while their imprisioned it would seem to be cruel and unusual punishment.

 

Ah yes. Those were the days. Unfortunately, back then the Steelers lost to the Ravens in the bumblebees.....but it was only because Leftwich injured himself while scoring (untouched). I flew out from the West Coast for today's game sporting both the Harrison bumblebee AND some killer rugby socks (not to mention black and yellow shoes). 2-0 this year when I'm in attendance, not that I can take ALL the credit.
