Who is your second favotite team?

If you put a gun to my head I would say pull the trigger.

It's Steelers or nobody!

 

I lived in Chicago 5 years, including when Da Bears won the Superbowl. That defense played like a Steelers defense. And I still have a bunch of friends in Chicago, so some interest there.

I lived in Denver when Elway came. He was a whiney assed punk. In the first superbowl he played in, which he lost, he cried after every bad play he had and pointed to other people as the problem. I have had no respect for him since. On a good note, his first sack came from Jack Lambert.

 

There are things about other teams that I think are cool. I like the San Diego Super-Chargers song for example.

In Hockey It's different though. Love the Pens, but I kind of like watching the Blue Jackets play.

 

NY Giants. Don't judge me. lol

 

I will always root for the 49ers unless they are playing the Steelers. Goes back to my childhood.

Beyond that, well I really don't want to see the Bungholes do anything but I really like Marvin Lewis since he's a local. As much as I dislike the Bungs having success, Im glad for Marvin Lewis. I get torn watching them...when they aren't playing Pittsburgh of course.

 

What is it with the dang giants lovers around here?! LOL!

 

I've always liked the 9ers as well and it is also because of my childhood. Joe Montana was a hero to a ton of kids in my generation and so was Jerry Rice. Are you talking more about the Joe Perry 9ers though?

Started paying attention to them a year or two before their 1st SB win. I liked their colors. And then they went to a SB tear thru the 80s and 90s and that and Joe Montana helped a lot.

 

I can't stand them. Have never liked them. Even when I was a kid I didn't like Phil Simms. I had good taste even then. Also they have a manning on their team. Also they are the worst team to ever win the SB. TWICE. Also they have a manning. I just thought that was worth mentioning again. LOL.

 

2nd fave: Anybody playing the Rats!
3rd fave: Anybody playing the Cowboys!
4th fave: Anybody playing the Raiders!

Well sorta. Peyton polluted east TN with so many obnoxious bandwagon fans that you might could say that. There are a lot of people that feel like me around here. I used to have a special trivia question for every "colts fan" that I would meet. "Who was the colts qb before manning?" I think I only know of one person that has ever answered it correctly and they were just guessing. LOL.

I always liked the NFC East teams like the Eagles, Redskins, and Giants because I hated the Cowboys. I probably give a small nod towards the Giants because I am thankful for those SB wins over the Patriots. Growing up near Erie I like the Bills a little as well. All these teams are far distant to the Steelers.

 

I've always liked the Bills quite a bit too. I have an uncle who has always been a really big Bills fan. Ralph Wilson was a great guy.

Duncan is the man for sure.

 

Eagles 'cause they seem to have a clear identity, and at least they're in PA. And they got rid of Vick.
Bears 'cause of the Superbowl Shuffle and their great D back in the day.

 

Really no other team compares to the Steelers,
well of old lets say, Bears (SWEETNESS)my favorite of all time. Packers, Bart Starr. Am I showing my age LOL.

 

Having lived in Atlanta for 17 years I really should root for the Falcons to some extent. Everytime I turn on a Falcons game I get bored and end up doing something else.
