Houston.... Defense 0 INT, 0 Sack, 0 fumble recovery. 7 for 12 on 3rd downs. Foster 155 yds rushing, Schaub 101 qb rating.

Arizona- Ben 3 tds near 400 yds passing 121.3 qb rating. 32 points. Arizona a decent team at home. 36 minutes time of possesion. Pretty good road win to me.

Kansas City...beat Green Bay, lost to Pittsburgh and the weather that night was cold and wet. Nice away victory...

Baltimore (loss).... Oh no Steelers D lets Flacco drive 96 yards with 1 timeout in 94 seconds to win the game. Damn Arians.....

San Fran... Ben injured, ) ) 0 sacks, 0 Ints, 0 fumbles......

Cleveland..... blowing winds, rain, dropped balls, injured players, we still won on the road.

Bottom line we win and lose as a team. The defensive numbers at the top are not that impressive, the offensive numbers are not that impressive, but our record is. We find ways to win thats all that counts in the end. Stats are just stats outcomes are everything...

 

Baltimore - 7 turnovers. Granted the defense gave up yards but 7 turnovers? Who wins with seven turnovers?

Second Baltimore game we don't close the deal on offense. We almost never close the deal on offense and we always send the defense back out to seal the deal. Sometimes they don't. It's the NFL the other guys get paid too.

For some reason this defense didn't get turnovers this year but they still did their job - they kept the other team's score lower on average than any other defense in the league.

It seems on this board that when it comes to "the standard is the standard" for some folks the defense's standard is perfection and for the offense the standard is mediocrity. I'm not happy with the talent we have putting up the points they do. We're not going to change the talent so...
