    Apparently Bruce Arians isn't concerned about Dennis Dixon getting broken in half anymore. The Cards signed him today.

    Honestly there aren't very many options for them this week. I suppose they could have called Favre back out of retirement.

    It's almost like they were trolling Steelers fans. Signed Dixon to the practice squad...activated Drew Butler...probably had Chris Carter in for a workout...

    The Cardinals only have one healthy QB and that's a rookie, why not take a chance on Dixon.

    I always thought Dixon never did that enough. For a QB picked for his speed and athleticism, they very rarely put in anything that let him exploit that. Given the state of our o-line then, I would have lined him up 15 yards behind the centre, and then just have him run for his life until a receiver got open.

    Dixon can't throw for crap. If you want a QB who can run, use a wide receiver.

    It really proves that the Steelers FO has something going on that others (other than us rabid fans) pay attention to. Why else would Ariens be spending that much time checking into whats going on at Art Rooney Avenue.

    Ariens also knows and (obviuosly) trusts the recruiting process here. What gets me is what potential does he see that isn't coming through here??
