we are in the playoffs, so I was thinking about who I did not want to see us play in any round. I am as big a homer as anyone and I think it is doubtful we win it all. so I was wondering who you guys were wanting to avoid. For me its baltimore. I think we can beat them, but after that last game I think they may have our number this year. If we can pull out the division and get them at home i will feel alittle better. Outside of the two nfc teams we might have to play if we get there( packers or saints) the ravens are really the only team that worries me. What about you all?

I'm more afraid of the...Steelers. When they shoot themselves in the foot, they are pretty darn accurate. Play mistake free and this team can beat anybody.

None of the AFC teams really scare me but if I had to choose, Id say Ravens. Not because I don't think we can beat them, because I think we can and we were an unfathomable Falco drive away from beating them last game. It worries me because I simply cannot stomach losing to them again if it came to that. :kapow:

I worry more about Baltimore than about New England, NE can be beaten - their offense is not as stellar as they used to be and their defense is a joke.

The Rats are pretty decent at home offensively (unless Flacco is delusional again and thinks he is Drew Brees and they should air it out - which funnily enough he seems to be, at least looking at the last comments from him :lolol: ) and their defense gives me stomach cramps.

I'd absolutely HATE it to lose a 3rd time against them but oh boy how sweet it would be to beat them in the Playoffs in their stadium.
Maybe then Ray ****ing Lewis finally retires and we're spared of his stupid dancing and shouting at the beginning of each game. But I fear he'll end up in some studio and we'll have to see and hear him on every ****ing gameday :banghead:

Honestly I am afraid of any team. My game day fears are always about how "we" are going to shoot ourselves in the foot, because when we play Steeler football, we dominate. I'm scared of ourselves.

    Too dumb to be "skurd"!!!
Don`t know the meaning of the word!!!
I completely agree with the previous two posters, who said as long as we don`t beat ourselves, we can beat anyone!!!
I think we have learned our lesson about being complacent, and playing down to the level of our opponents...
I fully expect us to come into the playoffs with a fire lit under our ass and win "number 7"!!! Regardless of where we are "seeded" to get there!!!

    Yup.

Specifically in the AFC, only the Patriots worry me. As far as I'm concerned the Ravens can kiss my ass; their season will come to an end if they have to face us for a third time. They'll likely have to come to our house because they won't beat Cincy tomorrow.

Im afraid to see the Big Ben that holds the ball too long and gets sacked and sometimes fumble in his own end zone, too many pump fakes... Mendy dancing(without music playing atleast) yada yada yada but most of all I'm afraid of seeing BA

I would have to say in the AFC, the Pats only because they can score points
and have a proven system, proven QB but I believe if we use the same defense
we did in the regular season we can handle them. The Ravens can be very good also
their front seven scares me against our OL. NFC of course GB and NO, we will have to play
lights out against these two teams to beat them.

Come playoff time - I'm scared of everyone, because anything can happen. There are no "bad" teams, and even those we should beat are capable of putting together a winning performance. This team is built for the playoffs, and should take care of its own business, but their opponents have the same goal and every single one of them can do what it takes to move on. It's time to put up or shut up, win or go home - however you want to put it. They're all scary, and we knock 'em down one at a time.

New England scares me more than Baltimore. I think Pgh would rebound in a 3rd meeting w/ Ravens (assuming Ben, Woodley, Pouncey are healthy).

I would also love to play the Texans in the playoffs. I think Cinc will beat Ravens today. Both Ravens and Cinc will be a tough matchup for any AFC team in the playoffs.

If we make it to the SB, then I am not afraid of any NFC matchup (including GB and SF).

I also worry about the pats. I can't stand the patriots but just watching the game last week vs miami coming back from 17 to 0 and now they're about to beat the bills after a 21 point hole. You can't let up on them at all and if you do they will slowly but surely drain the life out of you.

This team can beat anyone at home and can lose to anyone on the road.

I chuckle when I read about how they're gonna kill Denver because they're HORRIBLE. Well, it seems to me if you struggle to beat the Chris Painter led Colts, and the Tyler Palko led Chiefs and the Seneca Wallace led Browns on the road. You can struggle with the Tebow led Broncos. I think they win in Denver, but I can't see them winning 3 in a row.

Well I'm not afraid of any other team but I think the pats would be a tougher road game than the raisens. We took care of business at home this year by playing our best game of the year, coaches included. But, we seemed to have forgotten the good game planning of that one and went back to our usual predictable ways, especially on offense, so I'm not confident we'll duplicate our success in the earlier pats game.

    :FBAI!:

As of now, the only two teams that matter are the Denver Broncos and the Pittsburgh Steelers. Lets just hope the Steelers inflict more damage on the Broncos than they do on themselves.

Agree that the steelers scare me the most, wondering which Road team will show up.

Heck even Denver scares me, got me thinking they could pull a 2011 Seahawks upset. Other than that, in the AFC New England on the road scares me, Baltimore is our best chance as game planning and familiarity take away any advantage for either team as we've seen each other so much.

I'm not sure about the status of Matt Schaub, but Houston could be worrisome too with Schaub and a top tier defense.

The key is really which Steelers team decides to show up for the game.

The Cheaters scare me the most.We beat them earlier this year.Belicheat will change things up and Brady and Co. usually don't lose to the same team twice.Ravens D scares me,and the Cheaters O scares me.It's a offensive league now,You get penalized for playing good D.I think Goodell wants alot of points and that really hurts the Steeler Defense. That's why QB's are having break out years this year. GO STEELERS!!

All the teams are scary. This is not a dominating Steeler team and it is amazing that they pulled out twelve wins.

Injuries have really hurt this team and the shuffling on the offensive line has hurt them worse then anything.

With Ben healthy I can see us making a run. Crippled as he it is going to be tough.

For me, the scariest teams in the playoffs are the three top NFC teams- Packers, Niners, and Saints- any of whom will beat any of the AFC teams in the Super Bowl, IMHO.

Otherwise, I can't see the Steelers beating both the Ravens and Patriots back to back on the road. Sorry.

I'm scared of the Steeler's rezone offense.

Lob to Brown here, lob to Brown there, lob to Brown everywhere.

Certainly, the Patriots will be doing some additional film study to prepare for the game
