Beyond the fumbles he had 96 yrds sharing carries so if he can hang onto the ball he should do well.

Yeah, he's going to be bursting about that. I could hear his hand slap his forehead from here when Redman had his second fumble tonight though. :lolol:

Not to mention our only TD, that wasn't the easiest of runs.

I hate that Dwyer is on IR. I would have enjoyed seeing what he can do.

The best offensive showing of the season was the game Mendenhall missed vs Tennessee. The Steelers rolled, and Dwyer and Redman had good games.

Does anybody know of a site with current/accurate FA listings? I'm curious as to what RBs are out there. I know there are not any superstars/etc...but I'd still like to see whos left and all. As if Moore isnt back for this upcoming game I wouldnt mind them picking up someone.

i've never gotten on the mendy bandwagon. i prefer watching redman carry the ball. i'm glad he got those fumbles out of his system now. i'm confident in his ball security moving forward. we won't miss mendy. and when his contract is up at the end of '12, i hope we put that money towards o-linemen. the horses are more important than the cart. i long for the dirt, love, jackson, haselrig, searcy days where a pig farmer was leading the afc in rushing. and when the pig farmer went down, castoffs like fred mcafee, erric pegram, and leroy thompson were putting up 100-yrd games. take mendy's money, invest in the o-line, and attack with redman, dwyer, and batch in '13.

Ive torn my ACL in both knees twice, and it is possible that he will be ready. I think that with the rigourous rehab and the great medical care he will receive I would say if hes not ready to start the season, that it will be soon after. Now this is pending no complications!!

I think he will do just fine......I am glad that BA actually got in his face on the sideline would like to see the same thing when Ben forces a ball into double coverage or pumps it 5 times and gets strip sacked.....

I know both are trying to make something happen ,but ball security is Job 1......On the 1st fumble Red didn't get a clan exchange and was whacked before he had it secure so I give him a pass on that 1,,,,,,,on the 2nd. 1 it was his fault for sure I love the extra effort ,but he has to know when to give the play up and get down.....I think he will have a death grip on the ball next week,,I also think some of those 3rd. and 4th. Defenders will not be coming as much as now the Team will see on tape that Redman is a beast to bring down in the open field so hold your blocks he is not a dancer he can break a Tackle or 2 so don't let your guy be the 3rd. or 4th. hitter ...Stay on your blocks and help him punish DB'S....

    Were you a RB?

Just saying. If it's an ACL tear that requires surgery, it's one of the worst things that can happen to a RB. I'm struggling real hard to recall a single one who tore his ACL and returned to 100%.

they should trade Mendy at the draft for a higher pick, or just trade him for a good corner or a good o-line man.. When Mendy got injured the commentators said this isn't good news , I said to myself it's great news get Redman there

Not sure if it matters; isn't he in his last year with us or am I a year early? I was ready to let him walk healthy, and if he's going to be gimpy it makes the decision much more obvious.

How is losing your starting running back great news??? We are one injury away (redman) from being totally depleted at the rb position. Having an effective running game in January is crucial and this just puts more pressure on a gimpy Ben and the passing game. I certainly don't think mendy is the greatest rb but he has the ability to be effective, therefore this is a HUGE lost to our team
