Why is he not seeing the field? He was in for a hand full of plays. Does the coaching staff just like Justin Brown better. I know Lance was hurt for the 1st two weeks, but why isn't he seeing the field?

ive had about enough of Justin Brown. his fumble against the Ravens set the ton in that game and he dropped a td yesterday. i just dont see the ability there for him to be very good.

I agree, also i didn't see Heyward Bey yestereday. How about giving a Bryant a Helmet to see what he can do?

Gotta love Dave Diehl (the guy in the booth yesterday) saying Justin Brown is really coming into his own. Huh? At the same time, every person in my living room was like UGH...can we find someone else besides this clown??

According to Dale Lolley, it's because we like the way Justin Brown blocks! :lolol:

Tunch and Wolfe have been saying that too. They like Brown's blocking.

I think we will be more efficient on 3rd down with lance though.

Shouldn't someone tell our coaching staff that a WRs main job is catching the football? If we want blocking we could just play Spaeth or Mike Adams ... either of which catch as well or better than Justin Brown.

When it is third down or they are in the endzone, I dont understand when they call Justin Browns number. I dont think he is ready to be depended on in big situations.

Give me Heath, Antonio or maybe even Bell on third down!

    I also prefer Moore.
Coaches seem to prefer J. Brown's blocking ability.
And probably Ben has lobbied for J Brown, since he's taller than L. Moore (which could also be a factor on the blocking POV from the Staff).
    J. Brown: 6'3" / 209
    L. Moore: 5'9" / 190.

Haley said that Moore coming back from a injury needs to work his way back, if JB keeps dropping passes you will probably see Moore get playing time.

For what its worth, I think JB was interfered with on that TD pass that everyone is saying he dropped. It certainly appeared to me that contact was made early and the defender prevented JB's left arm from getting to the ball. That isnt a drop in my opinion but a classic case of PI where the defender turns the receiver....we clearly didnt get that call.

Well, then I think JB should stop trying to use his blocking technique on the football.

Yup if it's hitting your hands it should be a gimme. If the p.i. Is overly blatant it usually gets the call. These guys get paid a boat load to deal with adversity

THIS! GOOD GRIEF THISSS!!! I was thinking the same exact thing and every time I see that clown take the field I get actually irritated. Yeah he's "young" and all that. So what. So are a lot of WRs and they can catch the dang ball and hold on to it when they do. Did I mention that I'm not a JB fan?

Lance had that nice 3rd down catch yesterday.

I think the team has a right to be skeptical of him though. He hasn't really been available at all. He missed pretty much all of training camp with soft tissue injuries. Reminds me of Hines or Woodley right before we got rid of them.

Lance is someone who can definitely help this football team. He must not be 100 percent if he's still not seeing the field though. Justin Brown is just not really any good, I'd love to get that vet in there and have him get open in the slot like he has done for his entire freaking career lol

Justin Brown didn't even catch the catch he got credit for vs the Bucs. He dropped it, the refs blew the call, and the Bucs didn't challenge the call.
