Is the division still in reach ?

After a 2-2 start and the Bengals at 3-0 is are only hope to make the playoffs this season a wildcard ?

After looking at the Bengals schedual
cant see them being any worse then
12-4 so unless we go 10-2 in the next 12 id say it's lost

 

The division will be tough, but the playoffs are absolutely within reach

 

The way that San Diego and the ravens are playing right now I can see both of them as the wildcard

We should all be praying to "Suck and get Tomlin Fired". That's the only way, long-term, things will get better around here and maybe, MAYBE, we'll get one more good playoff run out of Roethlisberger before he breaks down completely (because this organization is going to play him until he can't walk anymore).

Still a lot of football left, but the way the Steelers keep playing inconsistently, I don't see them winning the division. Maybe a wildcard. They only hope is that they still have two games against the Bengals and one more against the Ravens.

 

The 1993 Saints started their season 5-0.
The Steelers gave them a massive beating for their first loss, and they ended the season 8-8.

I agree that the Bengals are playing well and look to dominate if they can sustain this.
But saying it's a done deal after 3 games is way premature.

 

i have a hard time thinking this team will make the playoffs. the Bengals and Ravens are far better teams and the Browns gave them all they could handle.

i dont want to be the doom and gloom guy, but 4 weeks into the season and we are pretty much seeing what this team is. an explosive at times offense that is very undisciplined, an oling that looks good one week and looks terrible the next, a defense that has no play makers on it. their secondary might be the worst in the NFL and thats not exaggerating.

right now i dont think the playoffs are in their future. i hope im wrong, but they havent done much to say i am.

 

I agree. I will be very happy if we make the playoffs but, right now, we just need to master the fundamentals of football.

 

There's no way to know, because there's no way to know how the rest of the division is going to perform from here on out. For all we know, 9-7 may win the division ... or the Bengals may go 16-0.

At least they should be favored against those 2 teams as underdogs! Maybe then they play up
