We just need to ask ourselves honestly and seriously:

Do most other NFL coaches win this game today? The Steelers were BY FAR the more talented team on that field today. BY FAR. If you had Fox or Pagano or BB or either Harbaugh...do you think they lose this game?

 

I actually felt the worst after San Diego beat us at home two years ago. They started a patchwork line of second and third stringers (including one they actually signed off the street that week) and beat us convincingly with the season on the line. We generated no pressure against a line of journeymen and community college players.

Every time? This team has been this way for years now. This isn't a new or uncommon thing

 

I think a coaches main job is to put his players in the best position to win. He needs to utilize their strengths and mask their weaknesses. Trying to force guys to fit his scheme is a big mistake. This goes for both sides of the ball. Are our players that bad or are they not being used properly? Our D schemes are extremely predictable and outdated. This is why teams have had huge second halves against us. You can't fire all the players. If you can't find a way to put them in position to succeed it may be time to walk away. It's nothing personal....it's about results.

That's a bit much. We have been MUCH worse then this. Did you already forget our game two weeks ago against Baltimore?

Whoa, don't be dragging D&D into this debacle debate. D&D deserves better than that.

 

We can't scheme around our DB play ...We missed Ike as bad as I thought we would our guys on the back are just not that good ... Our OL can be abused as well ....I don't want to hear this BPA crap for at least 5 years ... We need tackles on the OL and we need multiple DB'S . If we draft any other spot is futile..........

Time to really think of a trade ,,,I still think JB and DHB can cover for Wheaton .... We need a CB if we intend on making any type of run this season.

 

I just checked and there are over 5000 tickets available for the Texans game. I don't know if that is normal or not.

 

To prolong the agony?

It seems to me that over the last few years we've had major letdowns after good wins. I think that's on coaching.

 

Same old same old......smooth talker will say something smooth and my grade school team will throw a 30 yard conversion while he is smoothing the press this week.

 

I might agree with the trade but not during the season. It will take whoever to much time to get caught up to speed. But during the off season I would be discussing a trade with Wheaton and a good corner.

Justin Brown, Martavis Bryant, DHB and Lance Moore should be good on the receiver side for next year.

We also need a good defensive lineman.

Ike would not have made a bit of difference in this game. He is not a top notch CB and hasn't been for a while.

 

We lost to a team with a qb that I never heard of. Tampa lost numerous defensive players early. The receiver that burnt us in the 4th quarter was just signed off the street this week. Tampa tried every thing they could to lose this game but just couldn't do it. This is one of the worse losses ever imo.

 

Game was fixed.
