Status on Ike Taylor and Shazier ?????

    Ike has a broken arm and Shazier a sprained knee.

    Did you see Ike's arm snap in half? It would take a ton of painkillers for him to suit up next week.

    I see him coming back but probably not til after the bye week.

    Ike won't play again this year. Shazier will probably be out a few weeks. Hopefully Tomlin has more info later this afternoon.

    Just like every week...Tomlin has his Tuesday afternoon press conference and they should shed at least a little more light on things then.

    Tomlin has his presser at noon. I'm saying Shazier will be out 2-3 weeks. Taylor could be out for the season, he broke his arm badly.

    I wouldn't count Ike out of playing. It should take 8-10 weeks to heal. With the team having played only 3 games, that would mean he could be back sometime after the bye week.

    Tomlin says Ike is going to stay on the roster. Had a plate inserted to repair his forearm fracture. He'll miss several weeks. They can put him on IR at any time, however.

    Shazier is out for Sunday with a knee sprain. They'll evaluate him at the beginning of next week.

    doc: pretty bad but I think I can get you back on the field
    ike: that's great I will be able to play football again.
    doc: Yes ,the only thing is with this type of injury you may never be able to actually catch a football again.
    ike: wow thanks doc that would be a miracle,you actually getting me back 100% use of my hands.

    just kidding...Godspeed Ike. You are one tough SOB....
