New To The Forum!

Been a Steelers fan for over 40 years and as disappointed in the start of this season as the rest of you. However, one bad game does not a season make, and as the crazy results yesterday showed us, the NFL is impossible to handicap this early. So, let's go to Charlotte (where I live and will be attending the game) and crush some Panthers. Oh, by the way, checked out every forum out there and decided to join this one...clearly the best one! Good to be here.

This is the best Steelers forum out there. It was actually created as a result of the old official Steelers forum on steelers.com going defunct. Most of us were members there and migrated here when that happened, so this is kind of the official unofficial forum.

 

It really was a perfect storm of steelers.com shutting down and ESPN changing their format.

Welcome aboard. Greatest Steeler fan MB in existence. We all love it when fans from other places find their way here.

 

Thats interesting you said that. It has taken me quite a bit of time to have a chance to sit down, find a board and happily I found this board. The names I have been seeing reminded of that old board (which I was a member of for a long time) and I'm happy to be able to share views and hear from other fans again.

 

A lot of members from that board make up this board, although some of us have changed our usernames since then. You also won't miss all of the errors, missing graphics, and downtime from that board. This one is nice and stable.

I am also a 40 year plus Steelers fan. This is a great board with many funny and knowledgeable fans. I finally joined last night while following the game day thread because I had to vent. Looking forward to being entertained and riding the roller coaster that this years version of the Steelers has become along with the rest of TSF forum.

 

Good to have you. Glad you're not all of our stalkers anymore. LOL! The fun of being here is that it makes these sorta down years a LOT more tolerable because you go through them with friends. The more the merrier my friend!
