I know we had a rough night in Baltimore last night but we have a favorable next 5 weeks to fix what is broken. We play

    at Carolina
    Tampa Bay at home
    at Jacksonville
    at Cleveland
    Texans at home

We have time to right the ship before getting into it with Bengals twice and Ravens one more time. Our schedule is favorable to the way we are currently playing with it being tougher on the back end. If we don't go 3 and 2 or better over the next 5 weeks we will not make it to 8 wins this season.

OK, I am trying to add a positive from what I have seen so far this year.

For a struggling team you couldn't ask for a better schedule.

It's up to this team to play Steeler football for 4 Qts against each.

We just need to execute now. We need to see some fire and immediate improvement next week. I'll be at the Jacksonville game so I want them to right the ship before then. By that I mean solid wins and solid performances not some bipolar game like Cleveland.

I've been following the Steelers for 60 years since I was 10 years old. I've seen a lot of good and bad football but I have never seen a Steeler team that is as soft as this one. They can't fix all of the problems this year but they can fix some of them and if they do it might be OK. If you divide the season into quarters, which a lot of people do, and we can find a way to win the next two games we would be 3 and 1 after the first quarter and hopefully be playing more solid, tough Steeler football. The season will be what it will be but the next couple of games are extremely important in my opinion.

It has been painful and discouraging to watch so far this year but after 60 years of following them, I'm going to stick with them 100% and hope in the next two weeks someone on the team or in the organization can do something to turn this team back into a Steelers team that at the very least plays tough football like we are use to seeing them play. If not. they should buy skirts and continue to play like little girls. They need to play better fundamental football but they also need to toughen up and play the the way the Steelers play football.

Just my opinion but anyone that goes back to the 70's will know what I'm trying to say when I say this tean is WAY TOO SOFT. I know the players and the coaches are totaly different but toughness is about more than personel, it is attitude, committment, and desire. If this team shows some of that toughness I will be be satisfied whatever the record is at the end of the season.I would rather them win it all tihis year but if they can get back to what I feel is Steeler football I'll be satisfied with the record however it winds up.

Sorry for the long post but I guess I needed to get this out of my system.

Need to go 5-0 in the next 5 games. I said before the season that it would be disastrous if we weren't atleast at 6-2 after the first half of the season.

if Cam is healthy they will have a hard time against Carolina in their building. they have a very hard time with running qbs.

im sorry, but i dont see any of those games as easy for this team.

im sure those teams are looking at the Steelers the same way some of you are looking at them. an easy win.

Carolina and Houston are not easy games at all. Those defensive lines are going to make Ben's life miserable and if he doesn't watch his blind side he may get killed. We're going to seriously struggle with those defensive fronts, which means we're going to struggle period.

With some luck and regrouping, we could be 6-1, but that may not predict much success for the rest of the season as the opponents get tougher. We could also be 2-5, and have a tough road to even get to .500.

I guess that's why they play the games.
