    Hey mac, it's great to have our resident OL coach/scout here with us. I think that you're really going to enjoy the MB. TTF did a great job creating this for all of us Steeler fans. Again, welcome!

    Thanks for the message board...Im looking forward to the conversations. I've been a lurker for a long long time on the "Official" message board but could never get registered on the few occasions when I wanted to post - and didnt have the time to follow up constantly. Great that this one was so easy to register and looks like it will be easy to participate. Its sad the old board is so dysfunctional, but I guess for some reasons the Steelers feel that its better to distance themselves from a MB. Too bad, as I never found the conversations to be as contentious as on other boards. Anyway, here's to more discussions and more Super Bowls :drinks:

    You should send an invoice to the Steelers front office for the work, domain name and monthly hosting fees! ;)

    Hopefully you found a free site to host the board. Thanks again for all the work in creating a new home for us. :thumbsup:

    Thanks! I was banned from the board (I assume) two years ago during Ben's fiasco in Georgia, because I posted a joke about it. I have tried repeatedly to rejoin, but was unable. :frustrated:

    I started a post about it, then didn't bother. I knew it'd come up orgainically at some point. I don't know if I like HugeSnack, but I was so excited to join I didn't want to waste time thinking of a name I liked better. I wanted to honor one of my favorite underappreciated Steelers (A. Smith, Heath, Snack, Kreider) and just did the first thing I thought of. I may yet change it. The name I originally tried for a couple years ago was BringBackKreider. I might change it after some time passes.

    Why do you care about the number of your posts? It should be more about the quality of the comments, not the quantity. I may be in the minority here, but when I'm looking through threads for comments to read, I'm looking for certain posters based off of the content of their previous input and comments, not the post count under their names.

    It's as if some folks believe that a MB poster has some magical, mystical insight and credibility just because they have 5,000 posts. Wake up, that just means that they don't have anything better to do than surf the web all day and night.

    Thanks for setting up this Board. I've lurked on the official forums for the last 5 years and was never able to get registered. It's so nice being able now to share my thoughts with other similarly passionate steelers fans.
