    $8200 fine.

I'm shocked Goodell even saw the video to know to fine him...

Goodell is clearly putting his foot down...

But isn't that all Antonio was doing?

He struggled with admitting to it.

$8200 is a bargain for stealing a man's soul and having it memed a million times.

Poor judgment from League Office, hard to agree on this one.
This was a football play, no time to react and no intention.

It's 8,200 dlls that means change for AB, but this puts him on target as Second Offender for the next time he does something like this, where he can face a larger fine (anyway, change for him) and other kind of sanction.

It's better then what some fans believe would happen. I literally read fans suggesting he would be suspended for 2 games lol..

I know they'll probably white-wash the whole Ray Rice video episode but I'd love to see Goodell get fired for it. Got the Rooney's support then craps on the organization every chance he gets.

I'm really surprised he wasn't suspended for it.

Fine, suspension, however they decided to deal with it... it was entertaining to no end for me. :)

I don't think for a second he intended to kick the guy, he clearly meant to hurdle him. The issue is once he realized he couldn't hurdle him, he did seem to give him a good shot to the face. It did look like he gave the guy an extra shot for good measure, rather than just place his foot down on his face

He may have ended up kicking him in the face on purpose but there is absolutely no doubt that his initial intention was to hurdle him.

Easily could have been avoidable if he just took 2 steps to the left and scored a TD.

I'm actually surprised it wasn't a bigger fine.

Exactly what I said (well except the suspension part). I expected the fine but it was well worth it to me :smiley1:

I don't believe for a second that AB was purposely trying to kick him. I think it's pretty obvious he was going for the jump thinking the punter was going low, and he misjudged the distance.

Still, I'm not a bit surprised by the fine.
