Timmons was 20 when he was drafted. That's why he's still young even though it seems like he's been around forever. Definitely a benefit of drafting sophomores.

Of course he's older than those guys. They entered the league in 2014, 2011, 2013, and 2013, respectively. Cam Thomas and Moats I believe both entered in 2010.

I knew he was older than them I was just saying they make him seem like an old man in comparison. What about Mitchell? He has been on some different teams as well right? I still find it odd to hear that we are the oldest.

    Starters

    Cortez Allen 25
    Cam Heyward 25
    Jarvis Jones 24
    Steve McLendon 28
    Mike Mitchell 27
    Troy Polamalu 33
    Ryan Shazier 22
    Ike Taylor 34
    Cam Thomas 27
    Lawrence Timmons 28
    Jason Worilds 26

    299 / 11 = 27.2 average

    Top backups at each position

    S - Shamarko Thomas 23
    ILB - Sean Spence 24
    OLB - Arthur Moats 26
    CB - William Gay 29
    DE - Stephon Tuitt 21
    NT - Daniel McCullers 22

    145 / 6 = 24.2 average (25.7 w/ Keisel)

I didn't include Cam Thomas at NT because I already have him at DE. I didn't include Keisel at DE because we took Tuitt in the 2nd round and are high on him - the point is to show that he is there and he is the future.

Now just do that for 31 other teams and we will know for sure. LOL. That does seem like a pretty older squad on average but I think what really makes us "feel" like we are old is because some of our key guys are definitely on the downside of their career. Mainly I mean Troy and Ike.

Are in game adjustments being made?
We made a lot of no names look like superstars?
How can we rectify this? Is something being tried?

Thing is though you can look at tape and try to exploit a weakness but you must have the talent to do so. I thought the second half the Browns Oline played really well. Will other teams have the strength of Oline to repeat what they see on tape?

If the defense would of not missed so many tackles the game wouldn't of been that close. They ran it down our throats the second half.

Lebeau wasn't the problem. Player execution was the issue.
