The positive thought thread

I know this summer and the pre-season have stirred a lot of emotions on this board. I have read/watched the "debates" take place on here, some even heated. Even though I don't engage in a lot of the debate that goes on here I do enjoy what a number of you bring to the table. Anyhow, being the Kool-Aid drinking fan that I am (at least I will admit it) I thought I would start a positive thinking thread as we head into our first game. Here goes:

Here is to a great game...that we win by double digits
Here is to no injuries
Here is to Ben throwing for 300 yards (maybe tossing a couple Wheaton's way to calm the doubters)
Here is to Bell putting a 100 on the turd ferries
Here is to my man-crush Heath catching a touchdown
Here is to Archer getting shot out of a cannon for a big play
Here is to Shazier being exciting as we all hope he can be
Here is to our front 7 putting Hoyer/Manziel on his butt
Here is to our secondary playing better than they are
Here is to Troy being, well, Troy
Here is to a win with no injuries!!!
Did I mention no injuries?

Here we go Steelers Here we go! (yes, I am excited for the season to begin)

Here's a positive thought,

Thank god it's only a 16 game season

 

What is this "positive" that you speak of??? LOL. Actually one thing that I think of as a positive is that we have some key guys in contract years. Generally people step it up for that and try to get the big money. Hopefully that happens and we, as fans, benefit from it. However, this time next year we will need a NEGATIVE thread so I can say "well we paid some guys big money so now they are gonna be lazy." LOL.

 

positively positive jim. good stuff. the only negative I want to see is the browns rushing numbers. < and that's still a positive. LOL

 

I just thought of another positive, I hope the poo stains put in the rookie QB so he can get his head taken off. This will be the only reason that I stream the game today, I want to see that punk get crushed!!

Ben and the recievers and rb's seemed pretty good today, OLB's had a couple of sacks and we won. That's all I got except an ulcer, hey SteelerJJ pass the tums please

The Steelers completely crushed the Browns in the first half and then one team made major adjustments to bring the game into a tie after the Steelers slept most of the second half.

Couldn't watch the beatdown/meltdown but since it was a nail biter then the game will certainly be replayed for my viewing pleasure. But, with less stress!

LOL funny you mentioned that. I was just about to doze off last night and that thought popped into my head out of the blue contract. I thought wow I think I did put AFC central instead of north. LOL I just knew them as that for so long, it was habit. that's funny though you said that, and true.
