whats cookin for the game?

    OK, I'm at home for this one since my dad and step mom are going and my two boys. I've got a big'ol pot 'o chili on the stove made from our canned tomatoes and also our own canned tomato soup. garden grown crushed reds from our cayenne plants and jalapeno plants. yea smokin' my poor O ring Monday morning. nachos and cheese dip with philly cream cheese and the chili and nacho cheese over it. < good stuff.

    oh and for good measure a couple of bowls set aside with some extra hot stuff in it for my buddy the brownie troop 308 fan coming over to watch with me. yea, I want him sweatin the whole game. tee hee. is that wrong or what? heck no just a good game plan I figure. hee hee. :lolol:

    I'm cooking my chili right now as well. Seems to be a popular choice. Got some cold yuenglings awaiting in the fridge as well. :herewego:

    it's like a virtual chili cook-off. LOL good stuff. there will be no shortage of natural gas Monday. :facepalm::rolleyes::smiley1::cool:

    Chili, Buffalo ranch chicken dip, Italian meatballs, 12 pounds of chicken wings, homemade potato chips and a bunch of snacks.

    I have to work today. :cry:

    I'll have to head out somewhere around the start of the second quarter. So no special meal today. Someone have sausage and peppers for me. ;)

    You sure are preparing quite the feast glenn. You must have a few people coming over cause I cannot imagine anyone eating 12 pounds of wings lol

    I am not cooking anything.. Just having snacks. Peanuts and chips and like Ohio Steeler plenty of beer.

    I will be in heaven because daughter is working and wife is going out.. YIPPPEEEEE

    Gotta have a lot with 10-12 Steelers fans coming over. Usually just gave around 6-8 over, but with it being the home opener little more excitement.

    I cook for all the Sunday games and the others bring food on Monday, Thursday games!

    In about 20 minutes I will be firing up the charcoal smoker with water soaked hickory wood for a smooth slow smoked flavor and throwing on a terriyaki Pork sirloin. Too bad I can't watch the game. Will be listening on the radio and sending all the good vibes to Pittsburgh. Unfortunately the closest place for me to watch the game is about 25 miles away.
