2014 Steelers Practice Squad Signings

I can't believe that we waste so many draft picks on players that don't measure up to our older standards. They seem to always fall short. Maybe they should look to replace the people that make these decisions pertaining to who es should draft. I mean we seldom hit on many players anymore. For some reason we can'y pick a decent DB anymore, and we do get lucky enough to find one, we always seem ro let him go because according to someone's evaluations , evidentally he's not worth keeping. I am referring to losing CB K. Lewis. We could definately could use him now, but again, somebody decided he wasn't worth keeping, Bad decision!, AGAIN! SO OUR DECISION MAKERS DECIDE TO GO WITH RICHARDSON, this year, and evidentally we miss again! Maybe we need to get rid on some talent evaluaters and get someone who knows what they are doing.

 

All the players we drafted are still there, just some on the PS. The PS brings a dimension to the roster which the older standards didn't have to figure.

I think Lewis made his own mind up, tbh, and it would have taken a heck of an amount of money to make him change it.

This is not to say I'm not concerned about our CBs at the moment - so I definitely get your frustration on this - but maybe we can't pin it all on the 'decision makers'.

 

I think it's a great story even if he never makes the final 53. To serve several tours for us and then to come back after playing several positions at Army is amazing. I'm rooting for him for sure!!!

 

You're implying good coaching doesn't make a difference. And that if it doesn't happen within the first couple of months, it won't happen. Weird things to imply.

 

he is a good story but I'm still concerned about no true PS o-lineman on this unit.
