So, what are your thoughts on the GOP Primaries? Any particular candidate you're supporting? Are you supporting the incumbent? Why? Interested to see what kind of political views my fellow Steeler fans have. PLEASE KEEP IT CIVIL AND BE RESPECTFUL OF OTHERS' VIEWS!

Discussing politics on a board not meant for politics is usually a bad idea. Religion too for that matter. No matter how civil and polite it starts, those discussions always degrade into something resembling monkeys flinging poo at each other.

I like a good political discussion. Hell, I like a good fight. But I'd rather not see it here. No offense, but I'd prefer we stay a united (mostly) family. :)

Every other MB I'm a member of has a rule against political and religious discussions for a very good reason. There are boards out there that cater to them.

To answer your question as politely as I can (and I won't say anything else on the matter), I'm not impressed at all with ANY of the candidates. Then again, my personal political leanings would have me making enemies with both sides of the aisle anyway. :roflmao:

You mean you're supporting Brett Keisel's beard too? :superman:

    :D

You're right, Ray, those can be two touchy subjects for a lot of people, but we're all adults here and I believe we could have a civil discussion about the upcoming election. No matter how hard we try, we can't get away from politics. We have former HOF WR who ran for political office, an owner who gave credit to Obama when the Steelers won the AFC Championship, etc. I put this in the water cooler section for anybody who wants to chime in, keeping it away from Steelers talk. I do like the idea of voting for Keisel's beard, though.
