Prediction for the rookies

I got Shazier winning defensive rookie of the year, and Archer winning offensive rookie of the year

 

I think you could be dead on with Shazier ,he has a good chance . Archer wil make some nice splash plays ,but he simply wont get enough snaps to be in the conversation.

 

Both good picks by Colbert and Co. I generally am not a fan of little scatbacks, but Archer is a weapon. He won't ever be a heavy duty RB, but he's going to score some TDs for us and change field position in our favor a few times this season.

 

exactly .. shazier has a shot.. archer has no shot .. not enough playing time to win it

that's only 2 rookies.... what about the others.... here are my rookie predictions for the yr.

1. shazier -- agree with most ...... droy
2. tuitt ---- will be in the starting line up by week 4 at the latest (may just start by wk. 1)
3. archer --- pro bowl as a return specialist
4. Bryant --- red zone specialist...... will need a yr. or 2 before being part of the regular offense.
5. Richardson- will make the team, but be inactive all yr., barring injury
6. Johnson -- will make the team, and be moved inside barring injury
7. zumwalt -- practice squad..... victim of the numbers game
8. McCullers --back up nt ..... look for a blocked kick or 2 on special teams as well
9. blanchflower-practice squad
10. Mauro ---- makes the team and becomes a regular part of the de rotation
11. hojo ----- makes the team and contributes as a special teams ace
12. elkins --- I still hold out hope for a helmet on sundays, but more realistically practice squad
13. waters --- practice squad
14. poole --- will make the team as a gunner on special teams

all others cut outright
