Wow, for Tomlin to be saying its significant, it must be pretty bad.

What are the odds your long snapper gets hurt

This run of bad luck is ridiculous.

Greg Warren has had his share of injuries. But, it stinks he does his job well, when healthy.

Just hope the boys stay civil in the practices with the Bills we don't need a bunch of injuries going into the season.

I read somewhere that Johnson's injury was a minor hamstring tweak.

Though Davis has a short resume he has snapped a few balls for the Bungles so not totally green.

Will Allen went down too. Similar to Will J. I wish the injury bug would get out of town this is getting ridiculous!

Exactly what i was concerned about with this joint practice. Like the Dallas/Raiders melee.

both will be fairly civil... the coaches will see to that... i'm actually excited for the joint practices.... the bills have one of the best d-lines in the league... the secondary is pretty strong too..... our o-line and our young wr's need to see this.
as for warren, I feel bad for him.... I always thought he was one of the better ls's in the league, and a pretty good guy to boot... replacing him won't be as easy as some may think

I think we've been pretty lucky with injuries so far. Usually by this point half our team is out for the season. I'll miss Greg, but it could be a lot worse.

I actually thought we'd let Warren go.

I say don't replace him, remove the option of taking field goals and see what that does to inspire our red zone offense.

Btw, does anyone remember that college kid who posted a youtube video of him doing a kind of 'extreme' long-snapping? I wonder what happened to him...

I was referring to Warren, how often do long snappers get hurt, wonder what happened.

IIRC we had some serious issues the last time Warren went down. Wasn't there a ball or two hiked out of the endzone? MY mind isn't as sharp as it once was but I remember something like that.

It was one play (James Harrison taking on the duties), which has forever been burned on our memories as the need to keep an entire roster spot open for a guy who can snap the ball a little bit further than the centre.
