Hmm. You got me. PFF is always right about this stuff, so I guess the Browns are better than us. Damn! I thought we were better than that.

Oh well!:bowdown::bowdown:ALL HAIL PFF :bowdown::bowdown:

Ok which one of you guys had 1 day? I personally thought he could go six hours without mentioning the 8-8 record or how he doesn't think they improved. So who was it? Was it you Hugesnack?

Hey, for what it's worth, this time he was sort of mentioning 8-8 as a positive.

I really just disagree with a lot of what PFF has there. Bell should be higher. McLendon should be higher. Ben and AB and Heath and Timmons could be higher. Worilds, too, if he resumes his tear. DeCastro and Heyward should be bumped up this year, and Cortez Allen could be, too. Most would consider Pouncey higher. Wheaton I could see as a "not enough information", but it seems silly to call him out as a below average starter. They clearly aren't expecting any improvement whatsoever from him or Jarvis Jones, which seems crazy to me. I find it odd that they grant Cam Thomas "average" at a position he's never played (or has he? not with us, for sure), and Mike Mitchell "average" at a position in which he excelled last year.

Should definitely be graded higher: Bell, McLendon
Could easily be graded higher: Ben, AB, Heath, Timmons, Worilds, Pouncey
Improving players that will likely be at a better level this time next year: Heyward, DeCastro, Allen, Jarvis Jones, Wheaton, Mitchell

And that's why I'm optimistic. Who says we're not improving?

Oh, and don't forget Shazier in there for Williams.

that's why browns fans love this time of year. they are always picked to be a contender or be better than they are. then the season starts and reality sets in. they suck!
anyone who knows football and is trying to be honest(which I think PFF is not) has to know that we got better. we are faster and deeper at a lot of positions we weren't last year.

PFF's statistical data is worthwhile, and some of their analysis of that data has value, but their offseason blog posts/projections/rankings I don't even bother to read.

At one point I found myself slightly inclined to feel bad for Browns fans, but enough of the blind media Cleveland love already. I'm not sure what people see that makes them think they'll be much less sucky this year.

It all revolves around Manziel. I mean the kid made about a 40 yard pass to their TE the other day and he did it while throwing across his body to the other side of the field. The fans and local media can't stop talking about it. When he makes a play like that with pads on and Shazier breathing down his neck THEN i'll be impressed. It's all Johnny Football hype right now with them.

Thats what it's all about right now with the clown fans, if they dont start johhny football these dog pound maniacs will boo them off the field, sorta like when they drafted Colt McCoy these dog bone heads thought the little colt was going to run all over this division, until we practicly killed him in his first game against us, I expect we will do a repeat on manziel, euphoria is high in Ohio but when the season starts and reallity sets in that their the same old clowns with manziel the complaining will start all over again...

You are what your record says you are. 12 teams had better records than our 8-8. 7 teams had 8-8 records. The mean average, as you asked, makes us 16th. As you say, it's a fact.

Now if the writer wants to ignore facts and use opinions, any team can be anywhere.

I didn't really hate to hear it. :)

And there is the passive aggressive retort followed by a remark about how dumb I am. This should be followed be the persecution message where you pull out the nails climb off the cross and tell us all that we are kool-aid drinkers. Maybe text the talking points memo for the next three months and saving the typing.

hahahahaha.... Screw the rankings, the results will prove em wrong, always do. As far as the stains go.... Like it or not, they have been getting better at each position over the last couple of years. They needed a QB and if homer or Manziel pan out then we'll just have to accept it. I view the stains as a 30 pt blow out garbage team every time we take the field against them, but that hasn't been happening and they're closing the gap. We seriously have a tough division and the rivalries trump the paper part of it! These boys in the north get up to play us and we need to start putting them in their place again!

yeah thats wh i mentioned that they had us at 27 and cleveland at 24.. that was my way of saying it was a worthless article but of course the big 3 took it as i agreed with it .. but yeah its funny how they went thru player by player and how our best guys are like average hahaha... im nto sure where they get the facts to write that S but if they get it where i think they pull it out from im sure if smells funny and maybe thats why they ranked the BROWNS higher then the steelers? hummmm .. coincidence .. i think not haha
