Kinda surprised no one posted this from the Steeler Fans home page...
    http://thesteelersfans.com/2745/video-antonio-brown-gets-silverback-ride/
Looks like we have a few current Steelers lobbying for Harrison`s return.(not just from this video, but from other links, as well...)
I guess the horse we`ve been beating is dead, but, I would love to see him return.
Along with some of his teammates...
I wonder if any of the players get in the management`s ears, or if that is "out of bounds"?
C`mon back, Bro, we got a place for you at vet Min!!!
    IMHO!
    GO STEELERS!:steelflag:
    (and bring Keisel with Ya!!!):yeehaw:

I love him but would hate to see him take a roster spot away from someone younger and who can play special teams. I think keisel has a real good chance and I think he can still contribute. Harrison is done imo

Carter would be no great loss to make room for JH and would be a significant improvement. Not that it will happen. And only way Keisel is back is if he plays for vet minimum.

For me, I just don't see a roster spot that will be taken from someone who will contribute more than a healthy James Harrison will. Keisel seems like slightly more of a long shot to me at this point.

Yeah, i'm getting the feeling there's a youth movement going on and they are ready to move past JH and probably BK as well. I could see them grabbing one of them if a major injury happened but if not it's looking like they are moving on without those two.

He wouldn't take what the Steelers were offering last year, this year it has to be even less, should they make an offer. This team cannot give up more than the league minimum for him, but at that price, I would say he is worth a shot.

I say no unless they suffer some injuries at the position, let's develop the young guys So'oto and Zumwalt and see what Moats can do. I'm sure Ike Taylor has been lobbying management to sign Harrison.

He is not going to get any offers so if the Steelers dont offer him a job I think he sits at home watching the games on TV like the rest of us :)

He is not going to get even what he was offered before leaving to Cinnci and because the Steelers organization does not bring back players that leave under these kinds of conditions I say he won't be back.

I think he will be playing somewhere, as soon as a player goes down, his phone will ring.

Of course other players say they want him back. They are friends. Besides how would you like to be the guy who says he's old and washed up and he shows up at your front door?

Would I take him at the right price if he is better than what we have? Heck , there are 6 billion people on this planet who meet that criteria.

Now is not the time to make the decision. After other players are released at the end of training camp is the time to make the best of what is available. Not like he is going anywhere else in a hurry. Ditto Kiesel.

Right price, come on back. Im sure he has some play making left in his tank. Let him play first and second down because he can stop the run to his side.. Besides, he's a player..he could help the D some how.

It's not looking likely that they will bring him back. I think Kiesel has a better chance but he doesn't seem too inclined to take the minimum. I know the whole we wear our hearts on our sleeves for these guys to the point where it gets detrimental to the team, but I honestly think both silverback and the diesel can contribute in "spot" play for a vet mini salary. We have a few young bucks that seemingly aren't gonna cut it after having been in the system so why not? It's really that simple.

The way folks get injured around here the past few years, it would be a safe and cheap bet to keep these two in mind

Kiesel's absence probably bothers me more than Harrison's - and like others, I strong believe that JH would be back if we had some bad injury trouble.

Given how much of the heart of the team he carried, I wanted to see Kiesel retire.
Properly retire, emotive speech to the team, salute to the fans on the first game at Heinz next season, handshakes, man-hugs and beard-tears for all.

Instead we've got this weird hanging around where he's just "out there" somewhere. I can understand how it happened, but it's just a shame that it's ending up this way.

Kiesel is likely not coming back either. Oh well. It is time to move on. He has a bit left in the tank and could offer some veteran guidance but for the better of the organization we should look at alternatives and be thinking about the future.

I just think we're so thin at OLB that we'd be crazy not to sign a guy who already knows the system and can play right OLB for vet minimum.

Pretty much this. No one is asking him to start in place of younger players. But it would be damn nice to have JH as insurance.
