Bryant is a rookie he will learn how to be a professional, or he won't last long in the league.

I think they should have penalized 10 consecutive drafts for jamming Ben's nose a couple years back... Dirty pricks hahahaha

    Tomlins still riding Bryant :lolol:

    As per Kaboly:
Mike Tomlin to Martavis Bryant after letting bullet from Ben slip through hands on a slant in end zone: "I can get a 5-9 guy to do that."

Oops, what I meant to say is:

Martavis Bryant clearly has no work ethic and I can't believe we wasted a pick on this slacker!

I agree completely mac. I like the fact that MT stays on this kid. I haven't got the impression that he's riding him hard or anything like that, but rather as you put it, he knows he has the talent so he's going to keep on him.

personally, I like my rose-colored glasses...beats the hell out of being depressed all the time. Even when things go bad, through my glasses the Steelers are excreting rainbow colored unicorns and puppy dogs!

Not the first time a rookie got chewed out and sure as hell won't be the last. Even if it was pure laziness on that play, most players are prone to taking a play off here and there during OTA's. Even the best players get complacent from time to time.

ps. The word troll should be banned from the internet. It's so annoying to see everyone on the internet call everyone else a troll just because they have an opinion they don't agree with.

Excessive negativity is also quite annoying to some.

That's why us humans have the ability to ignore. Everyone should be entitled to their opinion, even if it is extreme. Personally I find extreme optimism annoying (about everything, not just the Steelers) because it's usually unrealistic, but everyone is entitled to their beliefs.

Couldn't you just ignore the comments calling others a troll then?

I'm just pointing out it works both ways. I myself haven't called anyone a troll for a different opinion or for excessive negativity. I'll dispute what they say and maybe throw in a couple good nature'd wise cracks but that's about it.

There is a difference between having a different opinion and being a troll. I think the definition of a troll is someone who says things with the intent of provoking others. No one cares if you think we're going to go 6-10 this year. I disagree, but it's a valid opinion, and honestly, if the right combination of players go out injured, then I would agree.

You're a perfect example, shaner. You're pessimistic a lot, and we disagree a lot, but I don't remember anyone ever calling you a troll. I don't think you're one at all. Because you're expressing beliefs. Other people are just out to piss people off. They are trolls.

I'm pretty optimistic about the team this year. I still don't think we're a true SB contender, although i think if we got hot at the right time we could win it. I think we're probably in the 11-5 to 9-7 range with both 12-4 and 8-8 a remote possibility. I'm very, very high on the Munchak hiring and think that's going to do wonders for our Oline and running game, which will help the passing game as well as the defence. We should be able to close out games for the first time in 5 years. I also think our running game will be good for the first time in a long time.
