he may have some skills, but he'll have to soon start to show them. he didn't do a lot of pro set pass protection at ohio state. the film on him doesn't lie. we shall soon see.

My history with Mike Adams is rocky at best. I thought it was laughable that he was considered a 1st round talent when the 2012 draft approached. The scandal and an interview I heard with him pre-draft on Sirius really made me cross him off my list.

When we took him in the 2nd I still wasn't very excited. But in the end he is a big 6-7 Tackle with ok feet. I thought he actually showed alot of promise as a run blocking RT as a rookie. He was completely terrible last year and there is no positive to be taken away. But I am going to stick with the fact that I saw something from him at RT as a rookie.

I hope so, but just like gilbert, I've never been overly impressed by either so far. there are a lot of guys that can run block pretty well, it's the pass protection that will make or break us, because we only have one franchise qb. if we are still talking about them in year 3 and year 4, there is also something not to like. potential is one thing but we need a solid starter.

I agree with that, he needs to take a BIG step forward this season. Can't be having the potential conversation in year 4. He needs to show it now.

Staying healthy will help both of those guys. Gilbert was banged up for most of the season, and Adams was banged up (to say the least) all offseason. Not saying they will be great, but that's a legitimate reason to expect them both to be better.

I believe the Steelers released him during the 1st week of OTA's..

That injury may be worse than we hoped..
