I was listening to the radio. I don't know who he was but finally got to the steelers pick and loved shazier. he also added that they want to add a wr and versatile db. he thinks we take cody latimer wr indiana in the 2nd and lamarcus joyner cb/s fsu in the 3rd. I love joyner as a player but not sure about his ability in the nfl. I know absolutely nothing about latimer. have never even see him play a down

anyone think this is good? any thoughts on latimer?

Both are good players. Some major Lattimer supporters around here but he is well beyond alot of WR options in my book. Still, he's tall and productive. Never a bad combo.

Joyner was a major recruit coming out HS and may have actually been the most popular member of the Florida State defense, which is saying something. Definitely a good looking nickel corner/Safety. I wouldn't hate that pick.

Isn't Joyner small for the position not interested, there are plenty of bigger cornerbacks still available.

I've been crushing through as much youtube tape on Joyner as I can find in the past couple of hours. I initially kind of wrote him off due to his size because I didn't really like him as a Safety nor as an outside CB. I've seen him plenty, but it was so easy to get distracted with all of the other FSU prospects.

Joyner was/might still be a popular choice for the Steelers pick at #46 in various mock drafts. Where would he play with the Steelers. As the nickel corner. Joyner can fly and plays much bigger than he is. He's also pretty productive.

My only issue is - is he TOO MUCH like Shamarko Thomas? Could we utilize both in nickel and dime packages? He's the only DB I could see taking at #46.

Love to get some other opinions on Joyner since I kind of had my back turned to him throughout much of the draft process.

I would consider Keith McGill CB Utah 6'3 210 lbs at #46.

I have and always will believe size is overrated. If you can play you can play. Durability was only concern I had with Joyner but I had him mixed up with another player

Yup, Joyner never missed a game in his career, very durable.

My gut tells me no WR in the 2nd, as they're content with Brown, Weaton and the guy from NO (brain freeze).
