    I texted my good friend and former Steelers DB Jimmy Allen (hence my handle) about Bill's passing a few days ago. Here's what he texted me back and wants to share with the board-

    " Bill, you drafted me 40 years ago ! I remember you well- your life was full- 89 years, not bad. Your soul can rest now. Thanks."
