playing around cause I was bored again. done a mock where you took bpa and not draft for need. I actually liked the results. i used several websites for rankings and looked at several mocks

    rd1 cj mosley lb Alabama

rd2 stephon tuitt de notre dame i seen a few mocks had him late 2nd and i have seen him in the first

rd3 deone bucannon s wash st seen two mocks had him in the 4th. i think he is a steal here if available

rd4 lamin barrow lb lsu again have seen him going later. i just think he is no worse than a 3rd

    rd5 jaylen Watkins cb fl

    rd5 kevin norwood wr Alabama

    rd6 ryan groy og Wisconsin

rd6 walt aikens cb liberty have seen some not havin him even drafted. this kid can play

    rd7 Jacob Peterson te wisc

    Interesting idea, interesting results.

I'd object to taking a CB so late... I think we've tried and failed with too many in round 4 and below. But obviously that wasn't the point of the exercise.

Obviously, everyone is looking @ CB but I was thinking do the Steelers pass on Gilbert/Dennard and grab Mosley @ 15 and then address CB in the 2nd?

Drafting a CB is the 1st, particularly in our system, is not always the best way to go.

@ 15 Ebron, Mosley, and or Evans maybe there.

They could always trade down with the Niners and grab their 2nd second round pick. Pick 56?

colbert and tomlin rarely pick the best player available they have their own board and is usually a little different from the general site around ...

That's what I been thinking also, with all the talk of Dennard not right for our system and Gilbert's questionable tackling.

I also wouldn't mind trading down in the first, depending on who is available. Only round I wouldn't trade down on is the 2nd.

I have my eye CB Keith McGill, but don't want to use a 2nd and he will prolly go before #97. If we traded down in the 1st and got another late 2nd or earlier 3rd, we might have a shot at him.

The other later round CB's I like are Phillip Gaines and Ross Crockwell.
