This will be Mike Tomlin's last season if the Steelers don't make the playoffs? NFL nation

People talk about the "Rooney way" but Dan Rooney is now 81 years old so I'm guessing that "the Rooneys" are pretty much just Art II who has already shown himself to be a different kind of team president. LOTS of empty seats last season so can you imagine how they'll look this year if the team is bad? The many roster holes aren't Tomlin's fault exclusively but I wonder if he'll be the scapegoat anyway.

 

Preseason preperation is very important,
The CBA has become a detriment to success.But lets be better than what they have put on us.Please MT have your team prepared for the regular season from the get go. You have obviously failed at this pretty badly the last 3 yrs.Lets look like a professional team right out of the gate. Look sharp, play fast,MOTIVATE these players. Is this too much to ask?

Neither FACT nor FICTION, lol! It's opinion. If he gets us back to the kind of success the franchise and its fans are accustomed to I hope it is fact. A few more years of mediocrity though will spell his demise. He's got a franchise quarterback, some young players with loads of potential and a few grizzled veterans left. The question is will Tomlin be the maestro to successfully conduct the orchestra to create a beautiful symphony. Time will tell.
