a new mock to pass the time

I know that there are a ton of these on here but I really liked this one a buddy done. we get together every couple of weeks and the topic of losing woods and Woodley came up. he had this saved to his phone for another website so I thought I would get some opinions on here

I like the 2,3,4, and 5b picks; I don't dispute Dennard's talent, just the fit in our scheme.

I would like it better if Gilbert dropped to #15.

 

A little more realistic at this point than my last mock.

Can you just me an OLBer a little sooner. I just don't like Carter as our top OLB B/U.

I get the "Dennard doesn't fit our scheme statement. He's a bump and run shut down corner. Our CB play off, don't get beat deep and make the tackle in front of them.

That scheme, works well if you have a solid run defense and effective pass rush. Problem is we don't have that now. You have two choices. Get to the QB quickly and it'll help your DB's OR play press coverage effectively and that'll help your pass rush.

Dennard may now be our answer.

I actually think Dennard coulda fit here quite we'll... Reminds me of Ike in some ways, but better hands.

 

I like Dennard over Gilbert I just don't think he'll be there

 

I really like Dennard but I have a man crush on Gilbert. If they are both there @ 15 and we draft neither I may not survive.
