I don't live in Pittsburgh and very rarely are the Steelers talked about where I live, I've been thinking about getting satellite radio, what do you guys think about sports radio there? Worth it to get satellite?

Sirius NFL radio is really good stuff.
Dont think you will get local (pittsburgh) stuff on satellite thought.

This. You can listen to local radio free online or on the iheart app.

Hmmm, was hoping to be able to listen while I drive. I thought that was kind of the point behind satellite, you can tune into places all over the map. Bummer.

Local radio online will have to do, thanks guys

If you have a smart phone install the iheart radio app and play through your car speakers.

This is what I do. Steeler Nation Radio, 970 ESPN Pittsburgh and WDVE are some of the ones I listen to. The Mike Mitchell interview today was awesome to listen to.

Yes, thanks, I'll have to look into that. I used to listen to my ipod in my car, had to use a cassette thingy that connected to the ipod. Would I have to do something like that with my phone?

If your car stereo don't have aux plug just get a cheap stero at Best Buy. I paid like $75 I bought one that has Blue Tooth, so no wire to hook to the phone. It's super easy and my drives to and from work are so much better.

It will get the job done but I'm not sure about the quality though. The best way to connect is either thru an auxiliary input or Bluetooth like Glenn said. Whatever you do, do not go the wireless FM modulator route. As per FCC rules the signals are so weak that it's impossible to get a clear sound on your radio. I went thru 2 or 3 before I gave up on them and just bought a new radio with an AUX input Jack.
