    Why not, He didn't kill anyone after all Ryan clark already stated that there are other steeler players that smoke pot. If we lose plax and cotch id take him at the vet minimum. The Guy did make one of the greatest catches in Steelers History

    To me, given the significance, holmes did make the greatest catch in steelers history. I was also furious when we traded him. Also, he has been so unproductive with the jets mainly because of the qb situation. I would be confident in saying that I think he would be productive reuniting with ben.

    That being said, no, I do not want him signed.

    It was more than smoking weed. It was injurys and attitude. He was all about himself here and in NY. He burnt bridges here and in NY.

    I'd sign him only to vet min on a 1 yr prove it deal. He'd have to know and accept his role as the #3 WR behind Brown and Wheaton. anything other than this then NO. No No!!

    I would sign him for the right price on a short term contract. The guy can still play and he isn't a bad guy in the locker room, he was just dumb enough to get caught with weed in his car, unlike some of our other players who smoke but are smart enough to not get caught.
