really kinda figured it though.....now if we are tied or losing by less than a touchdown with 2:00 mins to go and he pats and ravens have already lost I wouldnt be surprised at all to see Big Ben come in

Here's hoping for a bruising running game, quick slant passing attacks, and perhaps once in while checking down to Mendy in the flat.

Here's not hoping for the o-line to let Batch get murdered in the first drive.

Given how rusty Ben looked without practice, I hope it doesn't come down to this.

I hope Tomlin puts a short leash on Batch. Don't get me wrong I want him to play and do well but if he gets picked twice I would like to see them insert Dixon. His mobility will open up the game plan (if there even is one) that the Rams defense has to try and stop.

I'm glad Ben is resting the injured ankle this week. Hopefully Charlie will have some protection, if not, I think we'll see DD before the game is through.

I would really like to see Dixon start so we could try some exotic plays. Nothing bad against Charlie, I like the guy but I rather go with Dixon and see what crazy-ness we can mix up.

We'll need DD's athleticism to run around the field scooping up the different parts of Charlie's broken body.

But not with a sensible gameplan. :praying:

So Ben is too hurt to play on Saturday, but wasn't too hurt to play in 4th Qtr garbage time on Monday Night?

Perhaps someone can explaint this too me.

The pain killers hadn't worn off yet and dumb as it sounds Ben wanted to send the message to his team mates that he was going to see that embarassment through to the end right along with them. Good message but awful damn risky. Tomlin shouldn't have gone along with it.

Why play him in 2 games in a 5 day period with no practice this week?

Try droping a glass bottle to the ground, from 4 feet and ever how long it stays together without breaking is how long batch will last. :hmmm: :hmmm: :frustrated:

Nonsense. They're gonna shoot old man Charlie up with a couple thousand CCs of Geritol and he'll be good to go :hehehe:

So what I was wondering has already been asked, but I didn`t see an answer...
Is Ben dressing as a backup? Is Dixon listed as #2 on the depth chart this week?
I have faith in Batch, but I do have to wonder if he can physically take the pounding that playing behind our o-line usually entails, at his age.
He doesn`t have a good history of withstanding the hits.
All of this kinda makes moot the point of an earlier thread about resting our starters.
Sounds like Pouncey is out again, also, along with Woodley...
Damn, we are like the walking wounded out there...
Normally, I would say, "Thank god it`s only the Rams"...
    But...
Wow, hope we can "find a way to win"!!
    GO STEELERS!!! :yeehaw:
    Edit:
Forgot to mention that with Moore out, And, apparently, Dwyer, too... that we are down to two rb`s...
Wow... Trying to find a way to look at the glass as "half-full"...
But feels more like it`s half empty, and outta any back-up in the fridge, or bar! :shots:
