I haven't watched this weeks episode yet, but so far I like it. I have no idea what the hell is going on, but maybe that's why I like it. :roflmao:

Finally saw episode #3. Wow! I don't know why some people are calling it trashy. It's sucked me in pretty good.

Although, it was a bit disconcerting seeing Art's great-grandaughter beaten to death with a shovel by Russel Edgington.

Looks like next week we're getting Sylar / Spock on the show. I just hope we know - in general - WTF is going on by the end of the season.

I'm really liking this show, but man is it out there. I'm glad the last few weeks hasn't been all about Dylan McDermotts butt like the pilot episode. Too many backside shots for my liking. And the young version of the maid is HOT!

Amazing that something like 5 or 6 episodes in and none of the main characters are aware that ghosts exist or have anything to do with anything. Finally, now the girl knows, and the mother is finally putting it together (I think -- she might go into denial and start thinking it's a relative or someone slipped her LSD). I've been waiting for them to realize what's going on because I'm impatient and it will make the show better. The fact that the husband and wife still haven't mentioned a word about the fact that she thinks the maid is 60 and he thinks she's a smokin' hot 20 is driving me crazy.

Here's my question: does anyone think that the Nora character (original owner of the house from the 1920s) looks and sounds just like Catherine O'Hara?? I think they could be twins, except for the age difference!

A young Catherine O'Hara. That's exactly it. It's been bugging me who she reminded me of. :this!:

It took me a few episodes to get into this, but I'm liking it a lot now. I'm also one who has no real idea what's going on, but I'm really enjoying watching it all unfold. The two storylines below in the spoiler have really wratcheted the suspense up a lot and the last episide was awesome.

[spoiler:2g8yk7op]The pregnant affair coming back and trying to kill the wife, and the kid who shot the others at school and doesn't seem to remember it.[/spoiler:2g8yk7op]

Still watching this show, and still look forward to it every week. I think I've actually figured some of it out, too.
[spoiler:2kuh3w53]I believe that anyone who has died in the house can not leave until they realize their dream, whatever that may be. On Halloween, those trapped in the house are allowed to leave, but they have to return to the premises by sunup. This is why the maid was able to see her mother, and the blonde kid was able to go with the daughter to the beach.
I believe the one in the rubber suit is the burned man, but I haven't figured out why yet.[/spoiler:2kuh3w53]

Funny that I've never really thought of O'Hara that way before (playing the mom in Home Alone is not really a sexy role), but I totally have the hots for her young doppelganger! Her name is Lily Rabe. Here's a picture: http://www.imdb.com/title/tt1783331/ I think I might also be in it for the 1920s-era look of hers in the show. Perhaps I was born in the wrong generation.

As for the show, it's a little frustrating. I feel like they could have so easily escaped if they hadn't been such morons about the whole thing. Now two out of three main characters are dead, and pretty soon they probably all will be. Perhaps a new family will get it every season? Oy.

[spoiler:2rn31r12]So do you think the daughter is actually dead or not? I say no way, but some people I've talked with think she is since she couldn't leave the house. I think it's too soon and too drastic of a direction for this really in the game.[/spoiler:2rn31r12]

[spoiler:39r6a576]I'm assuming you're behind in the show. That question has been answered.[/spoiler:39r6a576]

Yep, I am behind a couple weeks. Nice to know they don't let storyline questions drag on with no answers. Will be getting caught up over the holidays!
