Killing 2 birds with 1 stone. They would fill their OC position and get a wealth of intelligence on Steelers plans going forward.

    Kirby Wilson to the Ravens?

I don't understand why they would give him permission to interview with the Ravens. I understand not wanting to hold a guy back but you are s nding our entire offensive play book to the Ravens? That seems very bad for business.

Did he take the interview? I for one think you should always take a request for an interview because it gives you practice, even if you don't get offered a job or intend to take it if offered the experience never hurts. As far as the playbook goes I would hope that there is a certain degree of confidentiality agreement in the league, otherwise there would be poaching like mad just for perceived secrets

I really think the NFL is filled with so many professional people that are devoted to the little things of the game more than any of us could ever even imagine. So I really don't think there is anything that he could tell the rats or any other team for that matter, but especially our division and hated rival, anything about us they don't know. You always hear analysts talking about guys like Brady or Manning of Favre or whoever and saying "there's nothing you can show these guys that they haven't seen". I think that the thing it ultimately boils down to in this league is execution. Knowing what is coming and just finding the weakness in it and exploiting it. I bet even if he did do it that when we show up for camp Haley will show up with new plays and lingo that Wilson wouldn't know anyway. I agree with you though about taking the interview. It's not gonna hurt anything. I really would like for him to go up there and nail the interview and then get offered the job and then say "I would never work for you bunch of classless bums." LOL.

Film is all well and good but the film doesn't have wording and doesn't have our no huddle hand signals.

If this is true, then why are we so mad at Bill Belicheat?

I would be shocked if things like that aren't changed with relative frequency. It would be far too easy for opposing teams to watch film and chart what happens when they're used.

I really don't know. He was only fined for one game and it wasn't a game against us. BUT I could see people being mad at him if they thought he was actually filming the sidelines and not the actual plays themselves.

That's what I was saying to thorn. The lingo would be different by the time he got to the rats.

The thing that's funny to me about the whole thing is that there are some players who act like it was blown out of proportion and there were some who acted like it wouldn't really make a difference. Some even on the same team. I know Kurt Warner has said he doesn't feel like it made a difference at all but Marshall Faulk has said that he does. Then some players were like "oh we stole signs all the time" and then some were like "it's wrong to steal signs". I honestly would say that it's pretty rampant because you've always seen guys that call plays holding their sheets over their mouths and that went on even before spygate.

If he does go who will be the rb coach? Promote someone or look outside the franchise?
