playoff football is still about good defense. if you have a weak defense you cant get off the field and the opposing teams offense can shorten the game so much. Denver is having its way "right now" with the pats with two 7 min drives in the game. that's one quarter of the game. that leaves no room for error for your offense. now the pats may come back and win this game I don't know but for people who think that you should not worry about defense and just load up on offense. know that a bad defense really handicaps your chances.imo if this were us with the way our offense can play jeckyl and hyde, we would be in trouble. one three and out and you can be in major trouble. you need balance and in most of our loses this year we didn't have that. either the offense showed up and defense didn't or the other way around.

Not to disagree with you but is it that New England's defense couldn't stop them or is it Denver's offense is unstoppable? I looked at the same situation and came to a different conclusion - if you have a really good offense you can score points and keep the other teams offense off the field. I hope some day we can have an offense like Denver's.

What I was watching in the 1st game was no defense at all. It almost looked like flag football. The rule changes are killing the defenses as we used to know.

How is that? Pretty pedestrian score.

it wasn't the barn burner that was predicted
it killed my parlay with the O/U at 56

I think it was the fact that Denver has a lot of weapons on offense

    BUTT
this game sure has changed and these two pansies playing quarterback messed my beloved football of old straight the hell up

if you like yardage yes, if you like SB wins, it's not really that cut and dry. that is the goal ya know. good defenses have put a damper on all his SB aspirations in the past, well except once.
