lets face it

Maybe not having homefield throughout when the playoffs start is a good thing. Afterall if I'm not mistaken in the last however many years weve gone into the postseason having homefield advantage already we haven't made the Super Bowl. But in the years that we did go to the Super Bowl we either did it on the road like in '05 or we obtain homefield in the playoffs by having the seeds ahead of lose therefore giving us homefield in the AFC championship game like last year and in '08. Even as fas back as '95 we got homefield for the championship game by having the Chiefs get upset by the Colts.. So maybe Im reaching here a little bit but you can't hide the fact that every year we go in with homefield we dont make it to the Super Bowl. Now Im not including the '70s because I havent looked at those seasons but since Ive been watching and rooting for the Steelers religiously we make haven't reached the Super Bowl with homefield throught out unless we obtain it in the playoffs.

 

Some people always find benefits in whatever the situation is. "We play better under the radar" when people aren't talking about us... "We play better as underdogs" when people bet against us...

 

I think they don't get focused and take it seriously enough unless they have to struggle for it. I think it's what makes this incarnation of the Steelers hungry.
