    thanks
I just remember Cowher getting on him pretty hard
and then he shanked a punt and went to the sidelines like 100 yards away from where Bill was

I'm not sure, but I would think it has more to do with Miller coming up as a media talent. He was pretty good on his old show ... Miller worked well with Starkey. Not sure he will have the same interaction with Cook. They are both kind of cranky all the time.

Since I live in Ohio I listen to 93.7 online either at home or streaming on my phone driving to work. To me "The Fan" covers the Steelers only because they have to. I'd be driving to work hoping to hear some Steelers talk but I would endure "Pirates" talk instead, even though baseball season was over. Every now and then the morning show would be good. As for Vinnie & Cook, those two were like oil and vinegar. If I had to choose between the two I'd take Vinnie. Cook just seems like an arrogant snob!

Hmm. Maybe I'm in the minority, here, but I liked Vinnie. He was obnoxious, but because I live in AZ, I always needed a little blood and spittle from Pittsburgh sports talk radio, and Vinnie's tirades tended to take care of that.

They got two rednecks on the radio down here in NC. John Boy and Billy. Idiots laugh like hea hea hea hea. Can't even get a real laugh. Everyone knows it is all fake. I turn em off when they come on

That was me with Myron Cope. Till I moved south. Then if Myron was on, I was glued to the radio

My wife hated Myron when she moved with me back to Pittsburgh. Years later when he died, my wife put him with a Terrible Towel on our Christmas card. Some of these guys are like a fungus. They grow on you after a while.

I thought Vinnie was okay, I thought he was real for the most part, not a phony. Cookie is an azzhole in my opinion, if you don't agree with him he denigrates you, but he doesn't do it in a manner that is clever or witty or funny - he does it in a pompous "I know everything because I am a long tenured Pittsburgh sports writer" sort of way. The guy also has no sense of humor at all - I mean none, I don't think the guy ever laughs - must be a peach to live and work w/the guy.

The 2-5 show by far blew away the Vinnie and Cooke show. Miller was good and Starkey (the savvy old news hound) is absolutely the best.

Totally agree, they should have moved both Miller and Starkey together to morning. I prefer Tunch and Wolfe out of all though....

I was @ that game. It was against the Cards in Phoenix. Me, a buddy of mine, and the crowd did the whole "uh-oh" sound. Was hilarious. The chin was seething.
