Of course they do and it's ridiculous. The Chiefs came out firing, they weren't rusty by any stretch of the imagination.

 

BF I think it does. Colts laid down in the last game of 2005 because they had a bye. We thumped them after their week off. KC got ahead and figured we got it and got BUSHWHACKED!

 

when i went out Saturday Kansas City was blowing out the Colts and i was a bit pissed that they were gonna move on after blowing it against the Chargers and costing the Steelers a chance in the playoffs.

then i hear the final score and it couldnt of happened any better. for them to blow that big of a lead to get knocked out was awesome. the only thing that could of made it better is if Bowe made that catch and Succup would of missed a game winning field goal.

 

I think resting your players has some merit but I would at least play them a quarter to a half depending on how they perform. Now, it's been two weeks since they played. Players like to be in a rhythm and that's why we are seeing more teams that continue to play every week through the playoffs become successful.
