    8-4 is playing good football, thats what it means, means the arrow is pointing up, means the team didn't quit on Tomlin. Wonder what you will all say when we start getting back to 12-4 records? Or another SB? The lame "he wins with Cowhers players" won't be able to be used anymore.

    I'm still a little confused. If they technically finished ahead of us because of the strength of schedule tiebreaker, then why would we have been in the playoffs and not the Rats with identical 8-8 records had the Chiefs pulled out the win? I'm assuming the playoff tiebreaker and the draft order tiebreaker are two different things? Is the priority given to better divisional record to determine playoff seeding?

    Thanks in advance for the info. Just another reason I love this board, well-informed, knowledgable board members.

    This, times about a thousand.

    Nobody is saying they're happy with 8-8. But it would have been naïve to think at the start of the season that this year wasn't going to be a bumpy ride.
