Let's list as many horrendous calls as we can, whether then helped, hurt, or did not affect us (though quite a few fall into that middle category).

    1. The blocked field goal in Green Bay
    2. The Panthers held Gronk and NE should have had an untimed play from the 1.
    3. The missed penalty on Succop's missed kick
    4. The non-touchdown on the fake punt in OT of the Chiefs-Chargets game
    5. No penalty for an illegal forward pass on our epic lateral play (until Brown stepped out) against Miami

I'm not trying to suggest that the next post start with #6. Those are just to organize my post.

I of course know the ones involving the Steelers better than I know any others, though I think that I'm being fair by including a blown call that would have caused us to make the playoffs had Antonio Brown not stepped out.

There shouldn't have been a penalty on the lateral. It was confirmed by a few shows after the fact.

I have to make some attempt to be fair!

Edit: I watched a high-quality video. It definitely looked forward; the yard lines were facing such that a lateral pass would be moving further away from them, so it may have been an optical illusion. I thought it was forward live and still think it was, though.

There was that one in a Cinci game a few weeks back - might have been against the Pats? - when the guy was not ruled down by contact and scored a TD. I remember the talking heads going ape about that.

no-flag on MT when he was on the field in that Ravens game (ignore the Ravens player, even interfering with the refs's running - which he definitely did - should have drawn a flag)

They threw a flag on the Gronk play, they picked it up when determining that the contact occurred simultaneously when the underneath defender touched the ball. I have no problem with that call.

There are so many examples of BS calls, and I hardly watch any games. Watched the end of the NE/Cle game. Not only was the PI call horrible, but there was an intentional grounding call vs Campbell which was outrageously wrong.

Watched the GB/Chi game this past weekend as my brother made me. Chi was flag for "falling on Roger" which epitomizes how lame the NFL now is.

Seems the NFL apologizes for wrong calls each week, so those need to be added to the list.

I believe there were two different potential game changing bad calls in that snowy Lions/Eagles game, along with a couple of others in other games that week. I believe Peter King addressed it in detail in that week's MMQB.
