for some reason im not as bummed as i thought i would be. probably because after starting 0-4 in the preseason and starting the season 0-4 i pretty much wrote this season off a long time ago.

i will say it was rather painful for it to come down to a missed field goal, but then again if the Steelers would have beaten either the Ravens or Dolphins down the stretch that missed field goal wouldnt have mattered.

i am happy with the progress that the offense made. a few additions should make the offense top 10 next year.

the defense showed some signs, but they are old at a lot of positions and the young guys werent all that impressive.

their salary cap is a mess and i predict some major changes on that roster.

 

That's not what you said earlier you said the Steelers were going to the playoffs and could beat any team.

The main thing for me that softens the blow is that the stupid Rats didn't make it. I hope all the thugs in baltimore are crying in to their prison jumpsuits right about now.

Yeah it reminds me of a joke I heard where a guy walks up to the White House and asks to meet the President and the guard says "he's not the president anymore" and the next day he comes back and asks again and the guard says "he's not the president anymore" and finally he comes back the next day and the guard says "I'VE TOLD YOU HE'S NOT THE PRESIDENT ANYMORE!" and the guy says "Oh I know! I just love hearing it!" LOL. That's sorta how I feel about saying the rats are losers.
